01/28/22 Friday 2:55 P.M. I went outside again. I noticed an interesting fact, when I lived in Manhattan. On East 65 Street, the Pierre Hotel was there owned by J. Paul Getty on the Fifth Avenue corner, on the northeast corner was Nelson Rockefeller's triplex penthouse, and just east of that was Roosevelt House, and just east of that east of Park Avenue taking up a half block was the four story Warburg family chateau, and east of that another block was the Russian consulate, and just east of that was Richard Nixon's townhouse, and on the northwest corner on East 65th Street and Third Avenue was a Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips where I ate a few times. On East 67th Street and Fifth Avenue was my stepfather's family town house, and east of that was Barbara Rockefeller's town house, the Mexican consulate, Helen Kress Williams, the Austrian consulate, and the gallery where I met W. Averill Harriman. One East 70th Street was the Frick Museum, and east of that Stewart Mott's pent house, and east of that was Paul Mellon's duplex town house. On East 49th Street near Fred Von Mierers' inexpensive apartment was John D. Rockefeller III's apartment and also Howard Hughes and Kathern Hepburn's town house, so possibly some of those people knew their neighbors. CIO
01/28/22 Friday 2:10 P.M. I took the microwave proof plastic pot with lid, and I put in two four ounce cans of sliced Amour Vienna sausages with a 16 ounce can of Bush's baked beans, and I seasoned it with garlic powder, Lowry's seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, ground black pepper, soy sauce, Louisiana hot sauce and Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, and I mixed it all together. I then microwaved it for seven minutes, and I will eat half with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with two ounces of grapefruit juice. CIO

I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo filtered water with bottle return for $7.49, a 42 ounce Blue Diamond vanilla unsweetened almond milk for $4.99 and buy one get one free of Thomas' English muffin six packs for $4.69 both for $17.17 total. I then went to my 9 A.M. appointment. After my appointment, I sat out at the Senior and the Arts Center observing a frigid nearly deserted Greenwich Avenue. I then went to the Greenwich Hospital Thrift shop on Old Track Road, and I toured the store. I then returned home. I brought up the 42 pound bottle of water with my little folding cart. I then put the folding cart and green bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee outside. As a matter of dispute as to whom was Wiley Middleton that I knew in Fort Lauderdale back in the fall of 1976, he was a United States Marine Corps marine in World War I. He was from https://www.middletonplace.org/ and after World War I, he was the young kid that Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Henry Flager, and Henry Firestone took along with them on a camping trip exploring Florida. He built Port Everglades. He was the first www.cadillac.com dealer in Manhattan, and used to visit Greenwich, when it was an Artist Colony. He lived at One Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Through the Middleton Shipping Company in Brunswick, Georgia, he also imported all of the coffee into the United States into warehouses in Jacksonville and New Orleans. He had traveled around the world six times. His nephew who was going to inherit his estate looked like Bill Clinton. At the time GMAC also owned the Sheraton Hotel chain, so liked traveling on Greyhound Buses made by www.gm.com . He also knew Arthur Vining Davis that started the Arvida Land Development company in Florida. He knew Senator Claude Pepper that started the Grey Panthers Senior Citizen Political Lobby. He also started Jimmy Carter in Politics. He was buying up everything he could from the www.chase.com Bank up North at 25% on the dollar, knowing that when the Baby Boom Generation retired the properties would become more profitable. His family also signed the Declaration of Independence and were the first U.S. Ambassadors to the Czar of Russia after the American Revolution. He had a large network of friends. When I visited Frankfort, Germany for a few days in December 1980, I discovered plastic bags over there and anti slip linoleum with the round anti skid circles like on our steps in our building. Also while there at Duty Free, I bought six Rosenthal crystal goblets for $50 each, which I gave to my roommate in Manhattan. When I first got into home computers around September 1989, I went to a tag sale at Steve Smith's on Stanwich Road. He worked for Symantec, and he was selling various software. I have chatted with a few Germans living here downtown over the years. Also my stepfather once had an older Mercedes, and there was a Mercedes trained mechanic in Kennebunk, Maine who knew how to work on Mercedes, and he would visit Germany every year for training. 01/23/22 Sunday 6:20 A.M. As a matter of fact, when I attended www.lfc.edu my military draft board was out of Wellesley, Massachusetts where I lived nearby in Weston. I was not drafted because in the lottery my draft number was 197. I kept that draft card until August 1980, when some where in this area or the New York City or Long Island, my Jansport back pack with my travel funds which were substantial, and my Connecticut driver's license, and my U.S.A. passport and my draft card along with $200 cash were stolen from my car, so I changed my travel plans from driving to Montreal and flying to Oslo, Norway to driving out to California from this area via Provincetown, Hanover, Montreal, Toronto, Key West, and across country to the west coast from San Diego to San Francisco, where I camped out nearby in Santa Barbara at a camp ground near Ronald Reagan's ranch where there were Mountain Lions with a bit of extra time also in Laguna Beach where we threw Ronald Reagan's victory celebration, before I sold my old Volvo coupe made in Belgium at the entrance to Disney Land for $1200 cash, and I flew back to Manhattan with my friend from Manhasset, Long Island whose father was in the Unites States Department to return to his mother's apartment on West 74th Street while he lived with his grandmother in Plandome Manor since she was in a severe accident. I continued to live on West 74th Street until February 1982, when I had to move out, and I traveled down to Key West because it was minus 22 degrees Fahrenheit in Manhattan, and after a couple of months down there held hostage by false computer reports, I returned to Plandome Manor, in April 1982 to start building the garage apartment until February 1983, when it was completed, and I was paid $8,000 in Barclay's Travelers checks for the job. I did visit Frankfort, Germany in December 1980 for a few days, but with fifty thousand U.S.A. military personnel there nobody was interested in me, so I returned. I stayed at the Y.M.C.A. in Frankfort that I found on a travel computer at the Frankfort airport. There were two German Shepard dogs there that liked me, so they must have smelt my roommate in Manhattan white German Shepard or Doberman on me. I did visit the Mercedes Benz showroom in Stuggart, Germany, and the salesman there told me he wanted to drive a corvette across Route 66 in America. My roommate in Manhattan's mother had the first Mercedes Benz on Long Island, since her mother was part of the Kaiser of Germany's consulate in New York City before World War I. At that time while living on West 74th Street, my friend's mother was the head of word processing in Cyrus Vance's law firm across the street from the www.ibm.com building on Madison Avenue and his father was a software engineer with the State Department in Libya, so obviously somebody knows who was filing false computer reports on me. I was never a drug addict or alcoholic or escaped from a mental hospital as the federal computer system said. I have my diagnosed disability and I am also diabetic which was only diagnosed three years ago which sugar can mess up my metabolism. Before the internet, I did network with people in pubs, since I had worked at www.cbsnews.com , but to be quite frank, I never had the money to drink too much alcohol, which I can not say so for some of my neighbors and associates. 01/23/22 Sunday 5:25 A.M. When I tired to travel to Stockholm, Sweden in February 1983, I went out to J.F.K. airport, and I bought the $800 package tour in cash on S.A.S. for a round trip to Stockholm and a week's stay at the S.A.S. hotel there. However, my S.A.S. jet landed at a military airport at Oslo, Norway, and a bus took me to the S.A.S. hotel next to the Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway; and at the desk there, they told me my ticket was only for a one way trip to Stockholm with no hotel. I never figured out why we landed in Oslo, but I found a place at the Y.M.C.A. across the street from the S.A.S. hotel. I then went to the Cats discothčque with about six feet of snow on the ground. I saw somebody I knew there from New York City and Key West. I stayed a couple of days at the Y.M.C.A., but they kicked me out, since I did not have any money. I wandered around in the cold winter night of Oslo, and I finally walked into the Best Western Hotel behind the Palace, and they let me stay there for a couple of weeks in return for my U.S.A. passport. I did not have hardly any money, but I wandered around Oslo while I was there. I mostly ate Swedish Wasacrip crackers that I could afford, and my hotel room had a refrigerator with beverages that I could drink. They built a George De Bouef restaurant in the hotel while I was there. I did go to a concert in the Peace Hall, and I toured the new Town Hall. I saw a big www.ibm.com building. There was a Royal Dutch Shell building next to the S.A.S. Hotel. I toured the Frogmore park and two old churches. I went to a student pub beneath one church, and I bought a Ringness beer. I saw a thousand or more www.ford.com Escorts on the dock there along with a half dozen cruise ships headed south. My bathroom had an electric floor that I could dry my clothes on when I rinsed them out in the bathroom sink. I bought a small Norwegian flag, and I sewed it on my www.nantucket.net hand made back pack. I went to the ballroom at the S.A.S. hotel, and there were a lot of Texans there flying the Texas flag higher than the Norwegian and the U.S.A. flag. I chatted with the Norwegian machine gunners outside the palace by the green houses, and they told me young Norwegians smoke rope when they run out of Virginia tobacco. I saw an older man in a black overcoat that might have been the King of Norway. I went to the casino at the Bristol Hotel. Barclay's Bank would not give me a refund on my $8,000 in Barclay's travelers checks that I got for building the garage apartment in Plandome Manor, Long Island that I mostly spent traveling the U.S.A. to Washington D.C., www.yale.edu New Haven, and my father's house at Bayonet Point, Florida. Money goes fast when one travels. For a few times, I used the health club in the basement of the S.A.S. Hotel. Around St. Patrick's day, somebody from the United States embassy looked me up at the Best Western Hotel, and had me go to the embassy to sort out my travel plans. There were a lot of older women their knitting sweaters. After a few days, they got my father to pay about $2,000 for my hotel bill and the Y.M.C.A. bill and picked up my luggage at the Y.M.C.A, and they drove me to the Norwegian civilian airport, and they gave me a $100 bill, and put my on an S.A.S. jet to Copenhagan, Denmark. While waiting for my return flight at the Copenhagen airport, I bought two cartons of Prince cigarettes for $20 each, and I got on a new www.boeing.com 747 S.A.S. jet to J.F.K. airport in New York. I never left the airport in Copenhagen. Since I did not have hardly any money, I spent a week living at the S.A.S. terminal at J.F.K. around Easter Time watching a lot of religious travelers. I then called my friend out in Plandome Manor, and I took the Long Island railroad there, and he gave me a hundred dollar bill. I then went out to La Guardia airport, and I caught a flight to www.nantucket.net . I first worked at India House for about a week until the https://languedocbistro.com/ opened where I paid $40 a week to stay in their basement room at their guest house on Hussey Street. That is when the bridge fell down in Greenwich which sort of amused me. Just before Halloween I flew to Portland, Maine, and I met up with a relative in Kennebunkport, and we drove South stopping at another relative's in North Stonington, Connecticut and Greenwich and Plandome Manor where I showed the garage apartment, and then we drove down to John's Island, Vero Beach, Florida. I then drove down in a rental car in a hurricane to Fort Lauderdale, and I was there until Halloween during the Grenada Invasion. I then visited a relative in Bayonet Point, Florida, and then back to Vero Beach, where I had some medical treatment for stress of the war zone in Fort Lauderdale, where I saw a couple thousand people over seven feet tall. I then flew back to www.nantucket.net where I worked at Le Languedoc until they closed for the season around Thanksgiving Time. I then took the ferry to Hyannis, and I stayed up all night in the airport, and I saw Ted Kennedy there at 6 A.M. in the morning. I had a roommate at www.lfc.edu that lived next to him in Hyannisport, but I did not call him. I then flew on a small plane with a dozen passengers including Jackie Onassis to Le Guardia airport in New York City. From there I took the www.amtrak.com train from Grand Central Station to Toronto, Canada, where I spend a week or two sleeping on the couch at the Anglican Seminary Library at the University of Toronto. I used the swimming pool there once to show off my dark tan. The world's largest travel book store is in Toronto. It was about zero degrees Fahrenheit in December 1983, and I only had my summer clothes. I then took the Amtrak back to Manhattan with an older lady that looked like the Queen Mum and a little blond boy. I did make a telephone call in Buffalo, and a friend's father gave me his telephone number in Sands Point, New York. In Manhattan I wandered around for a week, and I did not contact Fred Von Mierers, and I stored my luggage at the East Side airline terminal lockers, after a familiar pub closed I would sit there, until I cleaned up in the morning at the upstairs tennis club. After a week, I took a shuttle bus to J.F.K. airport, and my relative told to go to Greenwich. I caught the airport limo to the Showboat in Greenwich, and a policeman drove me to the Greenwich Hospital where I stayed for a week with swollen ankles. I was then released with $80 from Social Services, and I wandered around for another week in Manhattan on the same routine. I then returned back out to the Greenwich Hospital, and I stayed there for another week, where they did a complete $7,500 physical on me, and then gave me a social worker that got me a small $240 a month room at 100 Milbank Avenue and $200 a month welfare, when I probably was eligible for Unemployment compensation. That was around Christmas Time in December 1983, and I have been here ever since. I did not call my friend out on Sands Point, Long Island, until I was more established in Greenwich after a year or more. I will now go outside again. I shall survive! CIO

In a large Rubbermaid container, I added a 38 ounce can of Dinty Moore beef stew, a 10.5 ounce can of Campbell's French onion soup, a third of a cup of dehydrated onions, and I seasoned it with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Lowry's seasoned salt, and Italian spices, and soy sauce and Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, and I mixed it all together, and I put half in a plastic microwave pot with lid, and I microwaved it for seven minutes, and I will eat it in a large Cobalt Blue soup bowl with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar, and I will refrigerate the other half. However, it can give one a lot of intestinal gas. CIO

Ninth Circle TV repair still works out here in the sticks of of the extreme southwestern Connecticut which is the third smallest state in the nation even smaller than Hawaii. I then went to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought buy one get one free of six packs of Thomas' English muffins for $4.69 both, two 10 ounce Kikkoman soy sauce for $2.50 each and a 12 ounce Louisiana hot sauce for $2.59 for $12.21 total. I then went to the Putnam Shell at 301 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $17 of self service premium gasoline for $4.399 a gallon for 3.865 gallons at odometer reading of 122487 miles for 53.5 miles driven since Thursday December 30, 2021 for 13.843 miles per gallon in local traffic. I took two slices of toasted Pepperidge Farm 15 grain bread, and I put Hellmann's Olive Oil mayonnaise on them, and I added 8 1/32nd inch thick slices of Stop and Shop turkey and 6 1/32nd inch thick slices of Stop and Shop provolone cheese, and I cut the sandwich in half, and I ate it with Cape Cod wavy salt and vinegar 40% less fat potato chips and a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of grapefruit juice. I also took a plastic microwave pot with lid, and I added a 10.5 ounce can of Campbell's French onion soup and a half can of water and five tablespoons of dehydrated onions, and I seasoned it with garlic powder, Lowry's seasoned salt, Italian spices, a chicken bullion cube, and ground black pepper, and I mixed it all together, and then I microwave it for five minutes. I then put the onion soup in the large Cobalt Blue soup bowl, and I added six crushed stoned wheat thin crackers and a couple of tablespoons of parmesan and Romano grated cheese, and I ate it before the sandwich and chips. 01/09/22 Sunday 7:15 P.M. There used to be a 24 hour drug store in the east side of the Waldorf Astoria in my days in Manhattan. The www.un.org used to use Norwegian mercenaries for peace keepers in their worldwide military operations, and the King of Norway is in charge of them if you get my drift. Around the French Government properties in Manhattan, they are probably still using the French Foreign Legion for security, and they obviously have worldwide experience and probably speak a bit of French. P.J. Clarkes is still using Bermuda Red Onions in their chili, and there is still a lawsuit between Bermuda and Texas for Texas growing Red Onions and calling them Bermuda Red Onions. Also on Lanzerote which is controlled by Spain they also grow onions in the volcano lava craters. Neil Grennon at Le Lanquedoc on www.nantucket.net used to make a very good onion soup, and since they are probably closed in the winter, he is probably available to make onion soup elsewhere. 01/09/22 Sunday 4:25 P.M. I went outside, and I drank my coffee. I washed the breakfast dishes. I chatted with a relative and a friend. I went outside, and I drank a brewed coffee. In the most recent episode of MI 5, the MI 5 agent did not know what color was cobalt blue. Cobalt blue is the color on Danish butter cookies. Also I have two Cobalt Blue 16 ounce soup bowls, I bought for $5 each at the Mews Thrift shop many years ago. Also when I used Fred Von Mierers' apartment at 420 East 49th Street in Manhattan from October 1973 to February 1975, on East 49th Street near Random House where Jackie Onassis worked, there was a diplomatic parking space with two Cobalt Blue Daimler limousines that never moved. At around 51st Street and Third Avenue, there was the British Consulate. Across the street was Fred's Chemical Bank Branch and just north of the consulate was Fred's Liquor store where he had a charge account. On the block on East 49th Street in that period, there was a small Gristedes grocery store, Laundromat, a dry cleaner, and 50th Street and Second Avenue there was a A&P grocery store and at 50th Street and First Avenue on the northeast corner there was a Greek Coffee shop and a florist. Thus in that rather busy neighborhood just north of the www.un.org , there were a lot of convenient places near Fred's apartment. I guess Citibank did not like being ignored, so they built a huge skyscraper near the British consulate location with a coffee shop and bathroom in the basement at that location. Just north on Third Avenue and around 54th Street, there was the F.D.R. Federal Post Office building with lots of government offices. On the corner of the post office building was P.J. Clarks a well known watering hole, where a bowl of chili used to be $2.50. Across from the F.D.R. post office Federal building was a Lums Hotdog restaurant which today the last I looked is a www.mcdonalds.com . CIO

I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I bought four 8 ounce Gold Emblem whole cashew nuts for $4.99 each can for $19.96 total. I then sat out at the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park. I then used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop next to the park. I then sat out some more. I returned home, and I put the cashew nuts away. I threw out the brown paper bag. From October 1973 to February 1975, when not in Greenwich, Connecticut, I used

I met quit a few people at that time. However, in the late fall of 1974, I was walking
With Fred Von Mierers on East 49th Street a half block west of Second Avenue at 4 A.M.
Coming from Le Jardin discotheque. A 40-story building at Second Avenue and 47th Street
Exploded from a natural gas leak sending glass and debris as far north as 79th Street.
Had we been at Second Avenue a half block away, we would have been killed. We were
Exposed to all of the dust from the explosion and Second Avenue was covered with
A thick layer of glass and debris. At the time I had interviewed with Chester Baylis
The vice chairman of Bankers Trust, and he was concerned about the FALN the Puerto
Rican liberation front that had blown up his building on Park Avenue. I knew the chairman
Of Bankers Trust in Greenwich named Porter Britain. At the time, I had Blue Cross Blue Shield
Insurance, but in the spring of 1975, my medical disorder began to appear while living in
Greenwich. Since people from the World Trade Center got side effects, I was wandering
If I got side effects from the explosion that I was exposed to.

01/06/22 Thursday 4:10 P.M. Even though I have lived next door to the Dorothy Hammil ice skating rink since 1989, I have a limited ice skating experience. The only time I visited it was when I lived at 700 Steamboat Road, I took a friend from Brazil ice skating there. While at Greenwich Country Day, I did not ice skate or play ice hockey. While at the Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut; I did not ice skate or play ice hockey, but I attended many games supporting out ice hockey team, as I also did when my family moved to Boston. At Lake Forest College www.lfc.edu I attended many ice hockey games at the Winter Club, my freshman year, and in my sophomore year I helped build a new ice rink in the old gymnasium. When I lived in Greenville, South Carolina in the winter of 1976, I ice skated one Saturday afternoon at the Omni Convention Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Also back in February 1983 before I flew to Oslo, Norway; I paid $20 to ice skate at Rockefeller Center. While using the health club at the S.A.S. Hotel in Oslo, Norway, I ran into Billy Martin and George Steinbrenner, and they told me I should talk about a faster ice hockey team. That is my total experience. I did used to go to a pub in White Plains, New York owned by Rod Gilberre, the Canadian Ice Hockey player, and there were a few New York Ranger Ice Hockey players there. The New York Rangers Ice Hockey team also practice near by at Rye Playland. I also have a Greenwich Country Day school classmate who coaches the Rye Youth Hockey team. I also attended the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France in 1992, but I only went to skiing events. CIO

I sat out for a while observing the ebb and flow of Greenwich Avenue. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . They have a sign on their door that they are closing at 4 P.M. this week's week days. I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and they are all out of the Covid 19 Test Kits. I then went to CVS in Cos Cob, and they are also out of the Covid 19 test kits. I bought for 50% off two boxes of 16 www.hallmark.com Christmas cards for $3.49 each box and .45 tax for $7.45 total. I then returned to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park on Greenwich Avenue. I used the bathroom at the CFCF coffee shop, and I sat out in the park for a while. I then returned home. I put my Christmas cards with the other spare ones in the far right bookcase in the hallway. 01/04/22 Tuesday 11:30 A.M. I used to have some connections in publishing. While at Greenwich Country Day school, there were a number of people from Time Life. Also another friend's father was the editor of Look magazine. While at Lake Forest College, one friend's aunt started Newsweek magazine. Another friend's father owned Random House. The chairman of the Lake Forest College board of trustees was Mr. Donnelly who owned R.R. Donnelly that published a lot of magazines. While in Manhattan in the early 1970s, I knew somebody from Forbes. On my last trip to California in 1980, I met somebody that owned the Times Mirror Corporation. A relative of a relative also owned Colliers Publishing. Another relative worked for Readers Digest. Having used the Greenwich Library www.greenwichlibrary.org for a lot of years until Covid 19, I probably saw a lot of people whom were into publishing. Also CBS here in town used to own Fawcett Publishing. Also in Manhattan, I knew somebody that lived near Forbes and Women's Wear Daily. Also I attended school at Greenwich Country Day with somebody that had something to do with the New York Times. At Lake Forest College, they used to say, "Publish or Parish." I also met somebody here whose father was the editor of the Chicago Tribune. Another classmate at www.lfc.edu family owned McGraw Hill. Also a relative knows the founder of PC World magazine. Another relative knew the owner of Greenwich Magazine. Also, I knew members of a family that owned Gannett Publications. CIO

I bought a rotisserie chicken for $6.99, buy one get one free of Thomas' English muffin six packs for $4.69 both, and a three pound bag of Halo mandarin oranges for $5 for $16.68 total. I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I sat out for a long time. I chatted with a friend. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I then went to Whole Foods on East Putnam Avenue, and I bought a flat package of 16 ounce 365 cold smoked salmon for $19.99. Whole Foods also has small bundles of fire wood and spring water ice cubes. I then returned home. I put away my purchases. I rehung the picture of George W. Bush and Laura Bush in the new picture frame on the left closet door. I went outside. I threw away the brown paper bags, and I drank a brewed coffee outside. I filed this report. Also about 25 years ago, a friend took me to a $200 a head dinner at the Homestead Inn in Greenwich the night that Tom Watson Junior of www.ibm.com passed away. CIO
