There is an old reliable standby for a healthy food in America, and it is called https://www.quakeroats.com/ which one can heat in the microwave oven.  When I was starving in the cold weather in my travels in South Florida and return up North to the Boston area, I would go into a Howard Johnson's restaurant and order a bowl of oatmeal for a dollar to keep me going on the road.  I did once have a bowl of oatmeal at the 24 hour Dunkin Donuts in Concord, New Hampshire.  I am eating a more tropical breakfast recently, because pineapple is supposed to be good for arthritis, plus the bread products fills one up.

I am reheateing the other half of the pizza in the Rubbermaid container for five minutes at 60% power.  I will eat it with a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of grapefruit juice.  Vero Beach where some Greenwich people retire to is near Cape Kennedy, so maybe they know a thing or two down there.  CIO

01/28/23 Saturday 12:20 A.M..  I went out to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a bag of pizza dough for $2.99, a 59 ounce Florida Natural Ruby Red grapefruit juice for $3.59, two 12.4 ounce Marie Calendar chicken sesame bowls for $3.50 each, two 8 ounce Cracker Barrel Vermont extra sharp cheddar cheese for $2.50 each, and four 8 ounce Oikos strawberry yogurt for $1 each and two tubes of Stop and Shop buttermilk biscuits for $1.19 each for $24.06 total.  Whole uncooked chickens there are $15 to $20 each.  They do have two pound packages of 80% lean hamburger meat for $4.99 a pound.  Next I went to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park on Greenwich Avenue.  I sat out for a while.  I  then went into www.cvs.com .  I bought two 15 ounce Campbell chunky chili soups for $2.50 each and two 15 ounce Campbell chunky chicken, broccoli and cheese soups for $2.50 each for $10 total.  I then sat out some more in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park.  I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking lot Veterans monument, and I sat out for a while watching the Bartlett Dairy delivering dairy products to www.starbucks.com .  It was not too busy downtown, but there was a bit of traffic on a cold night.  I then went to the Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought $20.04 of self service premium gasoline for $4.899 a gallon for 4.898 gallons at odometer reading of 123725 miles for 53.3 miles driven since Wednesday January 11, 2023 for 10.88 miles per gallon in local traffic.  I then returned home.  I put away my groceries.  I put the grey bag back in the car.  I sat outside in the local tundra drinking a brewed coffee.

Eastern Standard Time, I saw a bright shooting star or meteor due North descending straight down in the night sky.  It is unusual that it would be descending straight down vertically for a shooting star of meteor, so maybe it was a U.F.O. landing north of us.  One can report it here https://mufon.com , but having been on a night schedule most of my life, the aliens have probably already spotted me to their amusement.

01/25/23 Wednesday 3:05 A.M.  The Silence of Beta Testing.  I downloaded the latest Windows 11 beta 25276 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewiso?rfs=1 , and I used this procedure for Windows 11 on an older PC, Windows 11 Rufus installed from USB Pen Drive  I made a Windows 11 Rufus USB pen drive with this method this https://rufus.ie/en/ to created a Windows 11 bootable USB pen drive for it to upgrade https://www.elevenforum.com/t/create-bootable-windows-11-iso-without-tpm-secure-boot-and-ram-requirements.1891/ I formatted the over 8 GB USB pen drive in NTFS, and I set Rufus to "MBR" selected and the second and third advanced options selected, also select options no TPM/no Secure boot.  The different language versions of the Windows 11 *.iso download are here https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 thus for example if one wanted Windows 11 Professional in French download the *.iso file and make the Windows 11 Rufus USB pen drive the same way.  Once again the Complete PC backup does not work, but Aomei backup does work.  I will now install it on the upper left beta computer at the far end of the oak dining table.  CIO

The French bread is done, but because the way I did it, it did not quite rise as much. 

Back in the summer of 1976, when I was camping out on www.nantucket.net and sort of hungry after the Tall Ships in New York Harbor on July 4, 1976, when I saw Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip touring Bloomingdales Department store on Third Avenue the day after, I worked briefly in the Nantucket Bakery and also later in the summer of 1977 in Henry's Bakery, I learned the top secret recipe for Portuguese Bread.  It is basically the same as French Bread, but it is shaped differently. 

I am letting the bread cool on a wire rack.  I will save it for later on in the day. 

I will now practice some more "Old English". 

Old English also used to be a very good furniture polish with a bit of stain in it to remove scratches.  However, I later learned most people prefer Lemon Oil for furniture polish.  CIO

01/24/23 Tuesday 7:55 P.M.  I threw out three five pound bags of flour.  I went downtown to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I toured the store.  I then sat out in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park downtown.  I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking Lot Veterans monument, and I sat out for a long time.  I chatted with a friend on my cell phone.  I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com .  I then sat out some more.  I then went to the Acme store at 160 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a Red Baron Supreme pizza for $5, a five pound bag of Gold Medal flour for $5.99, a jar of Fleishman's bread machine yeast for $5.99, two 8 ounce bags Lucerne shredded mozzarella cheese $2.99 each less a 5% Senior Discount on Tuesday for $1.15 for $21.81 total.  I then returned home.  I put away my groceries.  I went outside, and I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee outside.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  I noticed at the Acme grocery store a whole uncooked chicken is now about $16.

As I have said before, when I used the language laboratory at the University of California at Santa Cruz, I listened to Ernest Hemingway speaking, and he spoke very slowly like he was extremely tired.  He said in the recording about the Spanish Civil War, where he was an ambulance driver for the Red Cross when the Fascists invaded Madrid, "There were four columns surrounding the City, and there was a Fifth Column within the City.  That is where the term "Fifth Columnist" came from.  CIO 

01/24/23 Tuesday 2:00 A.M.  Ninth Circle TV repair back in motion.  I moved the new 24 inch Insignia 720 P Smart TV from the bathroom into the bedroom window.  I also connected the TCL sound bar from the kitchen setup to it.  It is setup with the bedroom cable box, the over the air antenna, and a Roku device which to use one has to plug into the power strip.  I left its two remote controls on the left front of the bedroom desk.  I had to stack up the Scott toilet paper in the far left of the bedroom window sill.  I took out the 32 inch Westinghouse TV, and I set it up again the same way in the bathroom.

01/23/23 Monday 10:50 P.M.  Some of the owners of the expensive restaurants out on www.nantucket.net might know whom some of their POSH clientele are or were in the past.  Of course family people with lots of mouths to feed mostly eat at home.  Back in the old days, when the Scott family ate at the Warburgs, they served us hamburgers, and they thought we rich, when they ate at our place, and we served them 59 cent a pound sirloin steaks.  I guess people whom grow field corn in the Midwest know a lot of the field corn grain is used to fatten up live stock, so they can afford to eat a bit of beef when they are younger, until the get cholesterol problems.  The Italians know a bit about food, and in Italy, they cut proschutto, which I think is smoked and cured ham which is cut paper thin.  In Italy Bifteck a la Florentine is about a half inch thick.  They do like eating the bone marrow from ox bones, which is very healthy for one.  As I recall Etruscan cooking is to cook or sautéed meat with extra virgin olive oil and butter, seasoned with fresh garlic and white wine and lemon juice, and possibly some herbs or spices.  In Northern Italy like the rest of Europe, the people are really thin except for the widows and priests whom eat too much.  Also in Europe with gasoline over $10 a gallon, people still walk a lot.  Some of the younger people do use motor scooters, and in Italy they have two cylinder FIATs that get better mileage per gallon, if one can fit into a tiny car and navigate all of the traffic.  FIAT stands for "Fix It Again Tony" too.  CIO

01/23/23 Monday 7:50 P.M.  I went outside.  I chatted with a relative.  If one lives further east of Greenwich, a frugal friend shops at https://www.bjs.com/cl/fairfield/0031 in Fairfield, Connecticut.  However, if one were a veteran, and could afford the gasoline, there is a PX up at West Point, New York www.westpoint.edu , where prices might be cheaper.  Down in Key West, the biggest building was the www.navy.mil commissary, where every one shopped, so I guess they did not like me, since I gone to www.lakeforest.edu near Great Lakes Naval Station.  CIO

01/23/23 Monday 7:00 P.M.  I took a 15 ounce can of Bush's baked beans, and I put it in a plastic www.walmart.com microwave pot with lid and three Bar S jumbo franks cut on a diagonal one inch long, and I seasoned and mixed it with small amounts of soy sauce, Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, Frank's hot sauce, McHilney's Tabasco sauce, Ray's sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic powder, ground black pepper, Lowery's seasoned salt, cayenne pepper, McCormick garlic and herb steak seasoning, and I mixed it all together, and I microwaved it for 8 minutes on 60% power, and I will eat half of it with a medium baked potato with Smart Balance spread and a www.coke.com Zero Sugar.  That is Mike Scott's secret recipe.  CIO

01/23/23 Monday 5:10 P.M.  I went out to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a five gallon bottle of Primo Vermont Spring water with bottle return for $7.49 and a 48 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla almond milk for $5.49 for $12.98 total.  I then went to the www.chase.com Bank at the top of Greenwich Avenue, and I got a $10 roll of quarters.  I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I toured the store.  They have nice plants there for $12.99.  I then sat out in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Parking lot across the street.  I the drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I sat out for a half hour.  All together, I spend $1.25 in parking downtown.  I then returned home, and I brought up the 42 pound bottle of water with my little folding cart.  I then put it back in the car, and I drank a cup of tea with Splenda sweetener and lemon juice outside.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

Back in the old days around Greenwich Village, I had a Taft School classmate named Miller who was a law school teacher at www.nyu.edu .  Since Andrew Carnegie's only child had the married name of Miller and lived in Fairfield, Connecticut, possibly he was related to her.  Also there was a seven foot four inch tall New York City Police Man with the last name Miller who one could see at the southeast corner of Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street at Rush Hour.  There was even once an article in the www.nytimes.com that golfers from Greenwich, Connecticut walk around a lot in Manhattan.  The Ninth Circle pub was like my Ninth Hole break from walking around a lot.  When, I once had a little money, I bought a pair of Adidas Country sneakers for $40, and I later learned up in Canada with three green strips on them, it means one is a college student and two stripes, one is a High School student.  Thus when I wore them until about age 40, I looked like a Canadian College student.  How times have changed.  CIO

01/22/23 Sunday 1:40 A.M.  I practiced speaking my Dutch American dialect of English.  I went outside.  I will now send out my weekly notes.  I will then eat a 8 ounce Greek cherry yogurt.  I will then go to bed.  After working on personal computers since September 1989, I have gotten better at typing on the keyboard, but eye sight has gotten worse for better or worse.  By the way, the Holland Dutch post office in the Netherlands for the last two years has sent back my Christmas Card to the Dutch Royal family saying their address is unknown, so I guess they are pretty much private there in tulip land except for their web site https://www.royal-house.nl/ .  CIO

01/22/23 Sunday 12:15 A.M.  I went outside again.  Earlier I called up https://www.weston.org/1507/Police-Department to tell them, when I lived out on www.nantucket.net , they thought I was from Weston, Masschussetts, where I lived at one time.  However, I also visited Nantucket coming from Greenwich, where two of my neighbors were from the New York area, but had Boston connections.  Leading a simple life like I did on Nantucket in Greenwich can be more complicated. The Weston police department called the Greenwich Police department to come pay me a visit, and I simply explained to them I am trying to get back on a night schedule, which part of my normal routine.  When I am cold from going outside to smoke cigar cigarettes every hour, I talk differently than when one is warm and comfortable inside all of the time.  Back at the Polaroid research laboratory in Cambridge on Osborne Street, they used to have me test film by putting me in a cold room at 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and then room temperature room at 68 degrees Fahrenheit and then a 80 degrees room to test the film.  I sort of felt like a Guinea Pig back then.  CIO

01/21/23 Saturday 10:35 P.M.  I have a bone to pick with the Monster discothèque at Sheridan Square in Manhattan.  Right before I flew off to Oslo, Norway in February 1983, I drank a vodka tonic there, and I noticed the bar tender had something in his hand in a vial that looked like Mercury.  When I got to Oslo, Norway; I could tell my system was messed up, so I spent a week at the S.A.S. Hotel sauna bath sweating it out and working out in their exercise room.  Then one day, a quick and ready crew came in and removed all of the ash trays, and a lady walked in that looked like Queen Elizabeth II whose Uncle was King Olaf is all that I can figure out.  Once again for the several weeks, I was in Oslo, I did not eat anything but Swedish Wasa Crisp crackers and a little orange juice in my hotel room refrigerator.  They did build a George Du Beouf restaurant in the Best Western Hotel, when I was there.  I later found out that the meals were included with the cost of the hotel room that my father had to pay, before they released me to come back to America.  There was a big www.ibm.com building in Oslo and next to the S.A.S. Hotel, there was a Royal Dutch Shell office building.  Maybe because before I went to Norway, I was working for someone whose mother was part of the Kaiser of Germany's consulate to New York City before World War I, the Norwegians did not really like me.  They told me I would have had a better time, if I had visited Glen Eagles in Scotland, where ever that is.  I was originally bought the $800 package tour advertised in the New York Times for round trip on S.A.S. to Stockholm, Sweden and a week stay at the S.A.S. hotel there, but for some reason my S.A.S. jet put down at a military airport in Oslo, when there was six feet of snow on the ground, so maybe Stockholm was snowed in.  When I got the Oslo S.A.S. Hotel, they told me my ticket was only a one way ticket to Stockholm and no hotel room, so my poor father in Bayonet Point, Florida who had worked for Royal Dutch Shell before retiring had to pay for my stay at the hotel in Oslo and the return flight, plus they gave me a hundred dollar bill, when I used to buy two cartons of Prince cigarettes in the Copenhagen airport, where I changed flights to New York J.F.K..  The next two trips to Europe, I had a friend who had been there before to pay my expenses, and he had www.army.mil experience in the United States of America.

I will now go outside and drink a brewed cup of coffee.  If I have not mentioned it before, since I am age 72, I have prostate problems, where I have to urinate frequently, plus I had kidney stone surgery at the Greenwich Hospital two years ago.  Still I am comfortable at my Pied A Terre in Greenwich, Connecticut; where I have lived most of the time since June 1962.  Since my father Louis Dale Scott had traveled a million miles on Pan American Airlines by 1954, I used to like traveling, but it is inconvenient, when one runs out of money, and there is no place to go back to called home.  CIO 

01/21/23 Saturday 9:00 P.M.  The Monster Discothèque in Key West was near Mallory Square, and they had another Discothèque called the Monster at Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village in Manhattan.  Their symbol was a giant sea horse, so maybe little sea horses get larger out in the big oceans.  When one lives around the waterfront, one hears a few nautical tails.  I was told in World War II on Lanzarote, their were spies observing the shipping and military traffic coming by the Canary Islands in the shipping lanes.  I read during World War II, the whole East Coast of the United States of America was blacked out at night, and they even painted the houses on the waterfront battle ship grey which was a common color around the www.navy.mil .  Key West was like Greenwich, where nobody hardly talks to each other.  I chatted with Rob Glore, Jimmy Eldert, and John Bolton down there, when I lived there starving to death down to 125 pounds from Greenville, South Carolina, where I went up to 185 pound eating Winn Dixie steaks for $1.29 a pound.  Out on www.nantucket.net I weighed about 155 pounds.  They are really cheap on Nantucket, and despite working in expensive restaurants, we mostly ate the local fish or meat loaf.  The help were not allowed to eat the good food the restaurants served.  At the Le Languedoc restaurants, I did master a cottage cheese omelet.  Basically one takes three extra large room temperature eggs, and whisks together with a couple of tablespoons of cream.  Then one uses a seasoned eight inch aluminum skillet on a gas stove on medium high to medium with a few tablespoons of butter, and once the butter is hot and bubbly, one adds the egg mixture, and once the bottom side of the omelet is hard enough to flip, one flips it to the other side, and it puffs up, and then one adds cottage cheese on one half side, and flips the other side over it and slides it on to a plate for a nice puffy cottage cheese omelet.  In a posh restaurant, they might put parsley on top of it.  I never got the same effect off an electric stove.  The last time, I was in Key West in the winter of 1982, they had a barbecue at the Monster discothèque with half chickens cooked on a half of an oil barrel drum cut in half length wise with legs, and although everyone got to pig out, they would not let me eat any, even though I was sort of starving.  The senior person there with a military style hair cut had the same look as Tom Watson Junior of www.ibm.com and his daughter Olive was also down there at the time who I spent New Years Eve with in Greenwich Village in 1974 along with John Michael Barrett from Bloomington, Indiana whose family own the lime stone quarry that supplies lime stone for government buildings and the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. and St. Johns on the upper west side of Manhattan near Union Theological Seminary and the World Council of Churches from what I know.

01/21/23 Saturday 12:20 P.M.  I saw someone with a heavy winter coat at www.starbucks.com that said https://www.nationalgeographic.com/  in a big logo on the back.  That reminded me, when I first drove down to Key West at Halloween Time in late October 1976 from Fort Lauderdale with Brian Hibbs from Cheshire, Connecticut who grew up as a towny around the www.yale.edu green in New Haven, all  of Key West was boarded up, and nothing was going on.  At the Monster Discothèque, there was a small piano bar with white lacquer baby grand piano called, "Rotten Robbie's", which I thought was named after Rob Glore, from Lake Forest, Illinois whom had gone to school in Switzerland for college.  His grandmother's house in Lake Forest was across the street from the Onwensia Country Club, where I met Bob Hope at a charity golf tournament.  His grandmother was from the DuPont family, so they had a bit of extra money.  I had driven down to Florida from Lake Forest in the fall of 1972 with Hurley Harris Haywood, Rob Glore, and a Whitney from Minnesota who was a cousin to Jacksonville, and Hurley entertained me at Ponte Vedra Club, and the Jacksonville symphony.  I knew that Rob Glore had a place in Key West.  He owned a craft shop with some hippie girls working in it across the street from the Key West Post Office and next to the electric company which also housed the Scottish Rite Masonic temple.  Thus I figured out the Scottish had something to do with the electric company down there.  Possibly before I got down to Key West at Halloween Time in late October 1975, as I recall there was an article about Key West in the National Geographic Magazine the year before in 1975.  The Grosvenor family of National Geographic had a traditional Florida House in Coral Gables that I saw for sale for $20 million about fifteen years ago in the British Publication "Country Life" magazine.  The name Gilbert Grosvenor also appears on the World War II veterans monument on Greenwich Avenue, so they once also lived here at one time.  There is also a Grosvenor Square in London that I know about too.

01/21/23 Saturday 10:25 A.M.  I went out to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue.  I bought buy one get one 50% off of CVS Spectravite for Men over 50 for a hundred capsules for $8.90 each, and buy one get one free of CVS 180 mg. 100 capsule Vitamin E for $14.38 both for $32.18 total.  I then sat out across the street in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park.  I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center, and I paid three quarters to sit outside there for 45 minutes.  I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com .  I then sat outside some more.  I then went to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a 80 count pack of Kona Coffee K cups for $29.98 total.  I then returned home.  I put away my purchases.  I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee outside.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

01/20/23 Friday 7:00 P.M.  I picked up the mail.  I took the TCL sound bar off the Ocean Digital amplifier where it was sitting on the back side of the Ethan Allen recliner, and I hooked it up to the 24 inch Insignia Smart TV in the kitchen with it standing upright on the floor beneath the TV. It turns on with the far right of the four regular switches.  I hooked up the Craig tower speaker to the Ocean Digital Internet Radio amplifier, and I placed it on the back side of the Ethan Allen recliner.

01/20/23 Friday 5:20 P.M.  Off Netflix, I watched series 1 episode 3 and 4 of, "Vikings Valhalla."  I went outside in between episodes.  I chatted with a friend.  I will now go outside and drink a cup of tea with Splenda sweetener and lemon juice.  CIO

01/20/23 Friday 1:15 P.M.  I connected up the LG Sound Bar to the Vizio 40 inch TV, and I moved the LG Sound Bar to the left on the small end table.  I now have the JVC Sound Bar Connected to the 32 inch Insignia Smart TV in between the two other TVs.  Its power turns on with the switch to the left of the Vizio TV switch.  The power to the LG sound bar is left on, and it turns on with the LG sound bar remote control.  CIO

01/20/23 Friday 11:35 A.M.  I drove downtown to the Senior and the Arts Center.  I paid four quarters to park for an hour.  I sat out for a while.  I walked down to Zen Stationary, and I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and I lost.  I used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts Center, and then I sat out some more.  I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought four 8 ounce OOK Greek cherry yogurts for a dollar each, two 11 ounce Stauffer's chicken Fettuccini Alfredo meals for $3.50 each, two six packs of Stop and Shop multigrain English muffins for $3.49 each six pack, and four 20 ounce Stop and Shop pineapple chunks for $1.89 each for $25.54 total.  I then returned home.  I put away my groceries.  I went outside, and I put the grey bag back in the car.  I drank a brewed coffee.  I filed this report.

01/17/23 Tuesday 2:30 P.M.  From the living room desk, I moved the 32 inch Westinghouse TV into the kitchen hooked up the same way, but without Ethernet, since it is not a smart TV.  I moved the 24 inch Insignia 1080 P Smart TV to the living room desk hooked up the same way.  It all works fine.

01/17/23 Tuesday 5:50 A.M.  On the Insignia 32 inch TV in between the two other TVs in the living room, I have the Roku device turned on, and I am listening to https://www.nasa.gov/nasalive NASA TV.  Back from 1956 to 1962, when I lived in Decatur, Alabama; I lived 20 miles south of Huntsville, Alabama where the first NASA facility was the Redstone Arsenal.  I even saw a test firing of a prototype rock engine, and I once saw a picture of my parents with the German Rocket Scientist Wernher Von Brun https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wernher_von_Braun , so somebody around us must have known what was going on.  Back from the 1969 to 1972, when I worked at Polaroid's research lab as a research photographer on Osborne Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts next to www.mit.edu , the backup computers for NASA were at Technology Square near our facility.  CIO

01/16/23 Monday 10:30 A.M.  I moved the 24 inch Insignia Smart TV from in between the two TVs in the living room back into the bathroom hooked up the same way.  In between the two TVs in the living room, I put a three foot shelf, and then I moved the 32 inch Insignia Smart TV with its LG sound bar in between the two TVs hooked up the same way.  I put two macaroni and cheese boxes underneath it to raise it up above the Sony DVD player.  I took the HDMI cable off the Sony DVD player, and I hooked up the Roku device from the Samsung TV to the 32 inch Insignia TV in between the other two TVs.  The Roku device turns on with the far right switch on the control panel to the left of the master control switch.  I put the Insignia TV LG sound bar on top of the Vizio TV JVC sound bar to the left of the Insignia TV.  The LG Sound Bar power is left turned on, and it turns on and off with its remote control, and automatically turns on when the Insignia 32 inch Smart is turned on.  It all works fine.

From November 1980 to February 1982, when I lived at Julie Bolton's apartment at 315 West 74th Street two doors west from the Mayflower Madam, we only had a small rabbit ear black and white TV in the bedroom.  At night I used to frequently go down to Uncle Charlie's video bar on Greenwich Street and watch their video presentations with music.  I think Uncle Charlie was named after Charlie Chaplin or George Cary's Uncle Charlie who was W. Averill Harriman's brother in law; and from what I know it was owned by the owner of the Philadelphia Inquirer full of www.nyu.edu foreign students.  The Ninth Circle was still opened near by with the 24 hours TV repair shop in the basement next to it.  However, they were mostly into the Jute Box music there as I recall.

01/16/23 Monday 6:05 A.M.  I  had one of the HDMI ports free on the 40 inch Vizio TV in the northwest corner of the living room in front of the Ethan Allen recliner sitting in front of the bookcases, so I moved the Amazon Cube from the Samsung TV setup in the living room to the Vizio TV HDMI port 1, and it works just fine.  I also have a sound bar on the Vizio TV, but I do not leave its power on, but it is the switch to the left of the Vizio TV switch on the control panel.

Ninth Circle Midnight TV repair is still active, although much of the television content does not make sense to a older person like myself.  Sky News works off the Amazon Cube.

01/16/23 Monday 5:15 A.M.  At 8 A.M., I should order a newer Samsung cable box from Optimum for the bedroom, since I am paying for it. CIO

01/16/23 Monday 4:10 A.M.  I moved the 24 inch Insignia Smart TV from the northwest corner of the living room to in between the Vizio and the Samsung TVs in the living room, and I put it on the Danish end table in between them.  I have it hooked up to both cable boxes and the LAN.  I have it sitting on two www.kraft.com macaroni and cheese boxes to raise it up, above the Sony DVD player connected to the Samsung television.  Its power is connected to the control panel beneath it, which I leave on, so it turns on instantly.  One leaves the power to Smart TVs turned on, so they do not have to go through the boot up process.  I still have the Samsung television hooked up to both cable boxes, and the Vizio TV just to the living room cable box.

01/15/23 Sunday 2:40 A.M.  I practiced speaking my dialect of English.  I went outside, and I drank a brewed coffee.  I am now sitting on the north side of the picnic bench with my back to the North Wind.  I moved the RCA clock radio from the northwest corner of the living room  to on the laser printer on the left side of the bedroom desk.  I moved the DVD Video tape player from that location to on top of the Sony carrousel CD player in the left bookcase.  I moved the Danbury Mint Buckingham Palace model from that location the right side of the Queen Anne chair at the hallway entrance on top of the Ocean Digital Internet Radio and underneath the Hey Google Display device.  I moved the QE II whisky jug to the wicker rack on the living room window.  I also moved the horse head to that location.  I moved the elephant lamp to the Danish end table above the two line telephones.  I moved the 24 inch Insignia 740 P Smart TV from the living room desk the Northwest corner of the living room to left of the Vizio 40 inch Smart TV.  I have it supported on two large place mats on the smaller end table.  I hooked it up the living room cable box with an HDMI splitter, and I also hooked it up the Ethernet.  Thus one can watch the bedroom cable box off the Vizio TV with the living room cable box going off the smaller Insignia TV or either with their internet media.  I moved the Westinghouse TV from underneath the left front of the bed back to the living room desk hooked up the same way.  It all works just fine.

01/13/23 Friday 2:00 A.M.  I mixed a 5.4 ounce package of Knorr teriyaki flavored rice with two cups of Vermont Spring water and three teaspoons of Smart Balance spread with a 7.5 ounce package of S&B Japanese medium hot curry sauce with vegetables, and I am microwaving it for 16 minutes, and I will eat it in a large Cobalt Blue soup bowl with a 12 ounce glass of www.coke.com Zero Sugar.

To get out of the weather while driving, there is underground parking at the 24 www.cvs.com at 644 West Putnam Avenue, and the Greenwich Library has underground parking, and the nearby Westchester County airport has sheltered parking, but one has to pay there.  In the New York City area, there are always people traveling all of the time, since we are a major Metropolitan area.  On Steamboat Road, Berkeley Insurance and the Delamar Hotel have some covered parkinig.  The new Grass Island bathrooms have a covered porch.  Also the south side of the Greenwich Train station has covered underground parking.  CIO

As far as I know the only 24 hour restaurant in Greenwich is the www.mcdonalds.com on East Putnam Avenue at Exit 5 in the Riverside section of town.  The nearby www.cvs.com at the Riverside Shopping Center is also opened.  Some travelers sleep in the Riverside Shopping Center parking lot, because it has conveniences nearby.  In my neck of the woods on far West Putnam Avenue, there is a 24 CVS, a 24 Shell station with a bit of food, a 24 Mobil station with a bit of food, and a 24 Exxon station with a bit of food.  The White Plains diner is opened 24 hours https://www.portchestercoachdiner.com/whiteplainscoach/index.html , so I guess White Plains seven five star hotels, and their two major hospitals has some late night and early hours people.  I once ate at the White Plains diner with a friend, and David Llyod of Llyod's of London bought us breakfast.  There used to be a nearby pub opened until 4 A.M. with a disco and lot of late night people and some SUNY purchases students and some flight personnel from the  nearby airport.  Well I guess White Plains got so expensive, deja vue people from Greenwich are considered a bother.

01/12/23 Thursday 5:00 A.M.   I cancelled the TV order below.  I took down the Westinghouse TV in the bathroom, and I stored it with its remote control underneath the right front of the bed.  I moved from the bedroom window the 32 inch Insignia Smart TV and LG sound bar into the bathroom.  I am holding up its left side to level it with two macaroni and cheese boxes.  I programmed its coaxial cable too.  It works just fine.  I took off one of the HDMI splitters that I was using for the bedroom window TV.  I hooked up the bedroom desk 40 inch ONN TV to the over the air antenna in the bedroom window, and I programmed the TV for it.  I moved the Lasko box fan in its new box from the bedroom window to behind the www.harvard.edu chair in the living room with the other new Lasko box fan out of its new box.  I have four 12 roll bundles and an opened one of Scott Toilet paper, and a six roll bundle of Scott paper towels, and a 10 roll bundle of Charmin toilet  paper, and a 32 roll Bundle of Charmin toilet and some cigarette tubes in the bedroom window, so they can be restacked differently for the portable air conditioner duct in the hot months.

!!!!!! 01/12/23 Thursday 2:20 A.M.  I have a problem coming up in the next hot summer period.  For the last few years my electric bill in July, August, and September for both portable air conditioners in the living room and bedroom has been $450 a month at 78 degrees Fahrenheit which I can hardly afford.  It is 130 degrees Fahrenheit outside my windows in the afternoon over the black roof which absorbs heat facing the West.  With new 50% increase in the electric rate it will be close to $700 a month, which I can definitely not afford.  Thus I will have to keep the air conditioner in the living room at 85 degrees Fahrenheit and turned off when not in the bedroom or leave the living room air conditioner off all of the time.  Such is life on the poor side of town.  On my current medication, I get very tired in continual hot temperatures.  CIO

01/11/23 Wednesday 10:50 P.M.  I went downtown to the Central Post Office, and I mailed the large envelope to Greenwich Communities.  I then went to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I mailed the Amazon Return package via UPS.  I bought a 12 pack of McCafe decaf coffee for $6.99.  I then bought a 40 pack of Glad extra strong kitchen bags for $9.99 and .63 tax for $10.62 total.  I then sat out in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park across the street.  I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking lot Veterans monument, and I sat out for a while on a slow night.  I then toured the Greenwich Library, and I used the bathroom there.  They have lots of DVD movies on the ground floor now.  I then went to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought a 12 pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $14.99, a six pack of Stop and Shop multigrain English muffins for $3.49 and a package of four scouring pads including a copper scouring pad for $3.69 and .23 tax for $26.19 total.  I then went to the Shell gasoline station at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $16 of self service premium gasoline for $4.859 a gallon for 3.434 gallons at odometer reading of 123672 miles for 45.6 miles driven since Tuesday December 27, 2022 for 13.279 miles per gallon in local traffic.  I then returned home.  I sat outside.  I put away my groceries.  I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee outside.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

01/11/23 Wednesday 2:10 A.M.  The bedroom desk 40 inch ONN TV has three HDMI ports.  One is hooked up to the Apple Mac Mini as monitor.  One is hooked up to the HP 17 inch laptop as a mirror monitor.  I took the Roku device off of it, and I used an HDMI splitter to hook up the remaining HDMI port to the bedroom cable box.  It all works fine.

01/10/23 Tuesday 12:15 A.M.  I moved the AT&T prepaid sim card back from the Iphone 6S Plus to the Iphone 7s, and I moved the Obama Tracfone Sim card from the new Moto G cell phone to the Iphone 6S, and I put the Tracfone Sim Card that came with the Moto G Stylus back in it, and I activated it with the TracFone app for year with 1500 minutes for $135.64 total.  Thus all of them work now with cellular.  I also have the larger Samsung Galaxy G7 on Tracfone until June 27, 2023 with 800 minutes , and the smaller Samsung Galaxy G3 for 30 days with 300 minutes and the $30 tracfone with 300 minutes for a month.

Supposedly Howard Hughes attended a wedding I was at up at the Thousand Islands in the Summer of 1972.  That side of the Thousand Islands was in Canada as I recall.  When I was homeless in Fort Lauderdale in the fall of 1976, there were a lot of TWA people around, and on Las Olas Boulevard there was a Hughes Medical Hospital.  Howard Hughes had a flying medical team.  There also is a Hughes Boulevard in Laguna Hills, California.  I think there is also a Hughes Satellite in Danbury, Connecticut that worked on the first Hubble Telescope Mirror.  When I used from Von Mierers apartment at 420 East 49th Street in Manhattan, Howard Hughes and Katherine Hepburn had a town house a couple of blocks west of it near the Waldorf Astoria.  Howard Hughes' house in Lake Tahoe was for sale on the internet a few years ago too.  Wilbur Banks the Electrolux salesman here in Greenwich, once told me he attended Howard Hughes' funeral to make sure he was dead.  The last time I was in Vero Beach, Florida about ten years ago, I saw somebody that looked like Howard Hughes still alive, and there was an antique air show going on at the time.  The only time I recall flying on TWA was my return trip from Athens, Greece to Boston, and it was a long ten hour flight on a DC 10.  Hughes Technology is always trying to sell me satellite internet through Radio Shack, but we are not allowed to have Satellite Dishes in Public Housing Greenwich.  When I first got on the internet, Hughes Medical in Texas had a web master named Joy Cooper which is the same name of John Bolton's girl friend, when I met him in Key West in February 1978, where Pan AM first started flying from.  The Harriman family were involved with Pan Am flying from Sands Point, Long Island to Bermuda and England.  Alas from my Dutch family a lot of these people are pushing up tulips.  I also once met somebody in Manhattan from the Hughes plantation in Virginia, and they were a First Family of Virginia too.  There also used to be a Detective Hughes in Greenwich.  CIO

01/07/23 Saturday 8:00 A.M.  https://radiojuanfm.com/ from http://www.lanzarote.com/ .  Back in February 1972, I had a U-Rail pass in Florence, Italy; and after traveling a few times to Grenoble and Barcelona; I took the train down to the Coste De Sol to Malaga thinking I might visit Morocco, but I was told I would have to get a hair cut if I went to Morocco; so I caught a $40 Iberia flight to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands which is controlled by Spain, and I spent two or three weeks there, and I met Rhone Dietrin there from Oslo, Norway; and I spent half my time staying with him and his mother whom lived in a small house at the end of the run way.  His father was a pilot with S.A.S..  I used some of their precious water to clean  up the day I left on Iberia to Seville, Spain.  I then caught the train to Madrid, but I was in a rush to get back to Florence, for my exams; so I paid $60 for the high speed train from Madrid to Pisa, Italy and the local to Florence, Italy.  Lanzarote is not that warm in February.  It was about 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the day time and 45 degrees Fahrenheit at night, but it is really out there in Middle of No Where, and one can see a million stars at night.  It is a very surreal environment.  Raquel Welch made the movie, "A Million Years B.C." there in 1971.  It is a volcanic island that goes under water about 80,000 feet, so one is sitting on the tip of a very gigantic volcano that is still evolving.  There was a group of people there, I saw like something out of Jules Verne novel.  Also N.A.S.A. used to have a ground monitoring station there, in case the Space Shuttle had to land in Morocco.

01/07/23 Saturday 2:25 A.M.  I took the new opened Lasko box fan out of the bedroom window, and I stored it behind the www.harvard.edu chair in the living room.  I took the new 24 inch Insignia television out of the bedroom window, and I put it in the bathroom hooked up the same way.  That is all  one needs for the bathroom.  I moved the Scott Toilet paper around in the bedroom window sill, I moved the 32 inch Insignia Smart TV from the bathroom into the bedroom window sill hooked up the same way with the LG Sound Bar, the bedroom cable box HDMI feed, and the over the air antenna.  I also setup the over the air antenna on the window TV and the coaxial antenna on the bathroom TV.  They all work just fine. 

Thus I have been working for many weeks on the Orthodox Christmas new arrangement.  We can never afford too much at Julian Christmas, so we grab something after Christmas for the Orthodox Christmas.  Saint Nicholas was a Russian Saint, if one did not know.  There is a new 24 inch Insignia 1080 P Smart television in the kitchen, and a new 32 inch Vizio 1080 P Smart television in the bedroom, and a new 24 inch 780 P Smart television in the bathroom.  The Holy Trinity of Television.

01/05/23 Thursday 2:10 A.M.  I took a 15 ounce can of Bush's baked beans, and I put it in a plastic www.walmart.com microwave pot with lid and two Bar S jumbo franks cut on a diagonal one inch long, and I seasoned and mixed it with small amounts of soy sauce, Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, Frank's hot sauce, McHilney's Tabasco sauce, Ray's sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic powder, ground black pepper, Lowery's seasoned salt, cayenne pepper, McCormick garlic and herb steak seasoning, and I mixed it all together, and I microwaved it for 8 minutes on 60% power, and I will eat half of it with a www.coke.com Zero Sugar.  That is Mike Scott's secret recipe.  CIO

01/05/23 Thursday 1:35 A.M.  I called up the Canadian Emergency line at 1-613-996-8885, and I chatted briefly to see if the line works.  My friend James Edward Eldert is now from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and my friend George Gordon Cary grew up in East Aurora, New York near the Canadian border, and used to work in Toronto, where he had me on nation wide television at a night club, once when I visited him in Toronto.  The Scott library is still at York University, and all of those big tall Canadians never seem to pay any attention to short people whom might know a thing or two.  The last time I visited Toronto in December 1983, it was Zero Degree Fahrenheit, and I only had my summer clothes from www.nantucket.net , when Ian Greenshield was Jackie Onassis' body guard when she was not in Stowe, Vermont.  There were quite a few Canadians around Nantucket from what I could tell.  Canada is such a big country, they do not pay much attention to phone calls from people living down South on Long Island Sound in the warmer weather.  Vivian West out on Long Island had a husband she divorced from the University of Toronto that was a geologist that explored North America for the Oil Companies, and it might have been J. Paul Getty he worked for, since she bought her gasoline at a very old Getty gasoline station in Manhasset, Long Island and used to talk about all of the Saudi Arabians out there in their long robes in the 1940s.  She owned John G. Simmons reinsurance company that reinsured the oil refineries in New Jersey, so that is about all I know.  Her lawyer lived on Round Hill Road in Greenwich.  The last time, I visited Toronto, I went to a pub called "The Barn" with a lot of tall men, and it was overheated, so I guess they have a lot of energy up there.  I visited another pub called Chaps with people more my own size.  I was also given an Air Canada flight bag by somebody that looked like Tony Snowden trying to figure out what I was doing up there, but the Amtrak does run there up the Hudson River past a lot of people from this area that seem content ignoring me.  A lot of my teachers at Lake Forest College were from McGill University in Montreal, so I might have a bit of a Canadian education.  Plus I once watched Sergeant Preston and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police when it was on television here.  I also used to visit Preston's pub out on Nantucket by the Nantucket airport.  The senior Canadians in this area seem to have a different point of view here than I do as a long term resident.  Roy Bronson, the Golf Professional at the Greenwich Country Club was a Canadian Hockey player, before he moved to Hyanisport.  Louis Rosenstiel here owned a Canadian Liquor company.  Peter Brant has a Canadian news print company.  I have a relative that works for the Royal Bank of Canada which used to have offices across the street from me.  A friend claims his family help start the Hudson Bay Company.  The Hudson Bay Company is now owned by Federated Department Stores which also owns Saks Fifth Avenue here.  They seem to think that I do not do anything much here, so the local Canadian expert must not know me from what I can tell.  I drank a cup of tea outside, when I last went out, and now I will now go outside again.  CIO 

01/05/23 Thursday 12:20 A.M.  I have four large print King James Bibles that I use to raise up my Insignia 49 inch TV monitor on my primary work computer, so they are not available for reading.  However, on the bathroom television to level it off, I took out the two large print King James Bibles and put in two www.kraft.com macaroni and cheese boxes to level it off.  Thus in the right hallway bookcase on the winter clothing shelf, I now have four new King James Bibles.  I also still have my Thomas Nelson and Sons King James Bible from the Taft School, and I think I have another Gideon Bible, I picked up in my travels.  In the old days Bibles were only in Latin, so the poor people never knew what was going on with them.  However, good old King James had the Bible translated into English, so the common man could read it.  https://www.christianbook.com/ still has various Bibles and books on sale all of the time.  I ordered two https://www.christianbook.com/kjv-personal-size-giant-reference-leather/9781598560992/pd/560999?event=AAI for $12.99 each and $5.99 shipping and $2.03 tax for $34 total.  Thus I am helping support the Church of Scotland, which I might have some connection with, if anyone cares across the pond.  Thomas Nelson and Sons is from Edinburgh, Scotland.  I used to travel with somebody from the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Cadwalader family who started the first medical university in America in Philadelphia, and his relative was from Edinburgh, Scotland, if anyone remembers.

01/04/23 Wednesday 10:30 P.M.  I drove downtown to central Greenwich Post Office, and I mail a letter with a forever stamp which is now worth 60 cents.  I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking lot veterans monument, and I sat out for a long time.  I chatted with a relative on my cell phone.  I then walked down to the www.apple.com store, and I gave them the tip for fixing the Iphone dialer speaker that does not work by enabling the main speaker shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnajmGn0evM .  I then went to Zen Stationary, and I bought a Holiday Cash scratch card for a dollar, and I won a dollar for zero profit.  I then sat out some more at the Veterans monument.  There were hundreds of cars driving down Greenwich Avenue about 7 P.M..  I then went to Whole Foods at 90 East Putnam Avenue, and I bought a sesame seed bagel for $1.25.  I then drove to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park across the street from www.cvs.com , and I had a picnic eating the bagel.  I then chatted with my relative on my cell phone.  With the new battery it picks up the wireless signal there.  I then went into CVS, and I toured the store.  From the 50% off Holiday items, I bought a package of Merry Brite scented LED 3 wax candles with remote control for $9.99 and .53 tax for $10.62 total.  I then sat some in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park.  I then went to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and they gave me the last week sale price for four 12 ounce Steam Green Giant cut broccoli for $2.50 each, from the clearance frozen foods four 11 ounce Stauffer's hamburger meals for $2.94 each, two 11 ounce Atkins meatloaf and portabella mushroom meals for $2.44 each, and two 11 ounce Boston Market steak and vegetable meals for $2.44 each for $29.52 total.  I then returned home.  I sat outside.  I put away my food.  My freezer is full.  I then went outside, and I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee.  I picked up the mail.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

01/04/23 Wednesday 12:20 A.M.   I went out to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue.  I bought six 20 ounce Stop and Shop pineapple chunks with juice for $1.89 each, a eight pack of Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $11.69, two Stauffer's 19 ounce 2X meat lasagnas for $4.49 each, and two 48 ounce Ocean Spray diet cranberry juice for $3.49 each for $39.09 total.  I then went downtown to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park, and I sat out for a while.  I went to www.cvs.com and I toured around.  I bought a 32 count of Gevalia Columbian Coffee K cups for $17.99.  I then bought another one for $17.99 less $11.52 end of the year bonus bucks from the previous purchase for $6.47 total.  I then drove down to the Board of Education Parking lot Veterans monument, and I sat out for a long time observing a nearly deserted Greenwich Avenue with lots of Holiday Lights.  Remember Saturday January 7, 2023 is Orthodox Christmas, because they do not use the Julian Calendar.  I then returned home.  I brought up and put away my purchases.  I then went outside, and I put the grey bags back in the car, and I drank a brewed coffee.  I filed this report.  I will now risk my life fighting off any raccoons to throw away my kitchen garbage.  CIO 

01/03/23 Tuesday 9:20 P.M.  I raised up the new 24 inch Insignia Smart TV on the bedroom window sill with two www.kraft.com macaroni and cheese boxes on either side underneath both legs to raise up the television a few inches.  I then moved the LG Sound Bar from the bathroom TV to in front of the new TV with its remote control along side the new TV remote control.  The sensor on the new TV is at the bottom center, so it can not be blocked, which is why I raised it up.  The new TV as a 24 inch TV does not have as loud speakers, so it works better with the sound bar.  I might have to figure out a different setup in the hot weather, when I have to install the portable air conditioner exhaust duct again.

I will now go outside and drink a cup of tea with Splenda sweetener and lemon juice.

01/03/23 Tuesday 8:35 P.M.   I setup the apps on the Iphone 6s Plus.  I then did Icloud backups of both the Iphone 6s Plus and the Iphone 7s.  I sat outside a long time.  About 6:30 P.M., the order with tracking of https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?track=yes&trackNums=1ZRY39890325978272&requester=ST/trackdetails  on the order for https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-24-class-f20-series-led-hd-smart-fire-tv/6395125.p?skuId=6395125&irclickid=Vd8yhcUldxyNWPH2wK3ZOVh-UkAz04U91y4MVE0&irgwc=1&ref=198&loc=Technology%20Holdings&acampID=0&mpid=280388 for $52.99 and $3.36 tax for $56.35 total arrived.  I unpacked it, and I put its legs on using the little screw pincher to install them in place.  I took the tower fan out of the bedroom window, and I put it in front of the portable air conditioner.  I took the Sceptre TV out of the bedroom window sill, and I put it underneath the bedroom desk with its remote control on the back right of the bedroom desk.  I put the new 24 inch Insignia Smart TV on the bedroom window sill hooked up to the bedroom HDMI Cable Box, the over the air antenna, and the always on LAN connection.  I have its power plugged into one of the power strips on the left side of the bedroom desk.  I then setup the new TV updating the software, and installing the apps.  It all seems to work just fine. I left its remote control on the front left center part of the desk for easy access. 

I went outside a couple of times, and once I drank a brewed coffee. 

I will now go outside again.

!!!!!! I was able to fix the Apple Iphone 6s Plus dialer speaker ear piece problem with this tip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnajmGn0evM , so it all works fine again.  I will now change the sim cards between the two Apple Iphones again.  CIO

01/03/23 Tuesday 1:15 A.M.  On the Iphone 6s Plus, the restore of the latest IOS did not fix the dialer sound problem.  Also I have no Apple Icloud backups to restore.  I am now going to download and install the October 24, 2022 IOS.  Possibly since the latest Iphone IOS update was December 13, 2022, the Aga Khan's birthday, possibly all of his friends in India have sabotaged us for no apparent reason.  The dialer speaker did work after I installed the new battery, so that is not the problem.

01/03/23 Tuesday 12:10 A.M.  The dialer problem is still not working on the Iphone.  I am  now doing a restore from Itunes.  If that does not work, I will try erasing the phone again and doing a Icloud restore.

01/02/23 Monday 11:15 P.M.  I went outside again.  On the Apple Iphone 6s Plus, none of the ways for restoring an older IOS worked, so now I am just reinstalling the the latest IOS with Itunes and the latest IOS download from https://ipsw.me/ .  Maybe that will fix the Dialer Sound Problem.  CIO

01/02/23 Monday 8:45 P.M.  I am using this page https://www.wikihow.com/Go-Back-to-a-Previous-Version-of-iOS-on-an-iPhone to restore IOS 14 on my Apple Iphone 6s Plus with Icloud off my Mac Mini on the living room computer desk.  Possibly the dialer not having sound was caused by a software update recently on the older Iphone 6s Plus.

01/02/23 Monday 6:15 P.M.  After doing a Hard Reset on the Apple Iphone 6 S Plus, the sound on the dialer still did not work until one pressed the speaker button, so it is definitely broken.  I moved the  Obama Tracfone sim card from it into the Apple Iphone 7 s, and from the Apple Iphone 7 s, I moved the AT&T Go Phone Sim Card into the Apple Iphone 6s Plus, and then I set it up.  They both work good enough, so my Apple Iphone 7s in the red case will now be my primary cell phone to carry with me.  It is older, so I do not know how long its battery will last.  In replacing the Apple Iphone 6s Plus battery a month ago, I might have broken the dialer speaker, still the primary speaker still works on it. 

I will now go outside and drink a cup of tea with Splenda sweetener and lemon juice.  CIO

01/02/23 Monday 5:05 P.M.  I went downtown to the www.chase.com Bank ATM machine at Deerfield Place.  I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center.  I tried to use my Apple Iphone 6 Plus at that location and another location nearby, but it would not work.  I then returned home.  I tried to use it outside my apartment, but it would not work.  However, back up in my apartment there was a message on my answering machine, so its wireless does work.  The speaker does not work when one dials out, unless one turns on the speaker.  I searched for help on the internet, and I found this page https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgbqCLIakMI , but none of the fixes worked.  I am now doing a Hard Reset on the Iphone 6 Plus to hopefully fix it.  I went outside, and I drank a brewed coffee.  CIO

01/01/23 Sunday 9:40 P.M.  I cut off an inch thick piece of roast beef, and I put it on a microwave proof dinner plate with microwave lid, and I microwaved it for 3 minutes on 50% power.  I ate it with three small baked potatoes with Smart Balance spread and a 10 ounce package of Green Giant microwave broccoli with cheese sauce and a 12 ounce glass of Fresca with three ounces of grapefruit juice.  CIO

01/01/23 Sunday 9:25 P.M.  I went out to the Acme grocery store at 160 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a five pound bag of Gold potatoes for $5.49 and a 48 ounce Almond Breeze vanilla almond milk for $6.39 for $11.88 total.  I then went across the street to the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought buy one get one free of two Thomas' multigrain English muffins for $5.29 both.  I then drove down to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, and I sat out for a while in the Junior Chamber of Commerce Park across the street.  I toured CVS, and one local youth had the six digit pass code to let me use the bathroom there.  They have Tracfone cards there for $15 and $25 for the same rate as on the internet.  I then drove down to the Veterans monument at the Board of Education Parking lot.  I sat out there for a while observing a mostly deserted Greenwich Avenue.  I then chat earlier with two regular walkers.  I then returned home.  I put away my groceries.  I put the grey bag back in the car, and I drank a cup of tea with Splenda Sweetener and lemon juice outside.  I filed this report.  There is lots of pork on sale at both grocery stores.  CIO
