I guess the sliding interface at startup is part of its natural configuration, but at the original startup, I only had my own selected icon shortcuts which changed. The sliding interface icons are not alphabetized, which make it more difficult to find them. I ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts and four dried apricots. I went outside. There is a big screen television between the two dumpters, but I am not sure if it works or not.

On the https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en program, one can set it up to automatically restore the apps, but one can only do about ten apps at a time. Earlier I had copied my apps folder from the bedroom Dell Android computer off a USB pen drive to the Dell Laptop Android partition. In restoring apps, they sometimes do not work, and then one has to reinstall it. The only problem I have had with the configuration on the Dell laptop, is that it does not want to seem to shut down quickly, so I removed the battery, so I can shut it down quickly. CIO

I tried running Scandisk, but it froze. Possibly the Remix Android setup on the same drive interferes with it. I am now installing more updates on the Windows 7 partition. I could not do a Windows 7 Complete PC backup or and Aomei backup to external hard drives. However, I took a refurbished 1 TB Western Digital SATA drive, and I put it my Rosewill USB external SATA drive holder, and it looks like with the Aomei backup program, I am able to used the Clone function to clone the image of the hard drive of the Dell Dimension E310 desktop computer to the refurbished 1 TB Western Digital SATA drive. Thus I will have a backup of it. I ate six dried apricots. I went outside. I will now go outside again. CIO

If one looks at http://scott-mike.com/12013114.htm under December 24, 2014 at 5:15 A.M., one can see how I used to configure Windows 7 in the old days. I have an eight year old back up of Windows 7 32 bit on my old primary work computer, but I am not sure if its product activation would work, and I would lose my Android setup, so I will do a new installation configuration on the bedroom Dell Android computer. As I said before, it will not take Windows 8 or Windows 10, and I was not able to update the Bios. Still its Pentium 4 processor is faster than all of the old Pentium II machines I threw away over a year ago. CIO

03/25/18 Sunday 7:10 A.M. I went outside again. I watched four Youtube videos of the Duke of Windsor and Wallace Simpson and of the Queen Mother of England. A bit of history before some of my time. I went outside twice more. I ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts and a reheated bowl of the Cajun Spanish rice and seven Fig Newtons. I leant a neighbor a pack of cigar cigarettes. 03/25/18 Sunday 1:30 A.M. The final Cajun Spanish rice recipe would be. I then added one 26 ounce jar of Prego tomato meat sauce and a 15 ounce can of Campbell's French Onion soup and 16 ounces of water which filled it almost to the eight cup line, and then I seasoned it with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, oregano, onion bits, and Lowery's season salt. I then added about a quarter of a cup of soy sauce, dashes of Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, Frank's hot sauce, Mcilhenny's Tabasco sauce https://www.tabasco.com/ , and about a quarter of a cup of Good LIfe Sweet Algave Bourbon barbecue sauce. I stirred it all, and it was up to the eight cup rice line. 03/25/18 Sunday 12:55 A.M. The Cajun Spanish rice mixture was done perfectly after three white rice cycles. I ate a bowl of it with a glass of cold filtered water. I have about six days worth of the rice mixture left that I can reheat in the microwave oven for use as a side dish with other entrees. It is cheaper than Knorr rice mixture, but it takes more time. However, it is quite tasty. Remember, when one goes down south without Wampum, and when one is starving in South Florida, old Wiley Middleton https://www.middletonplace.org/ had a rice plantation in South Carolina. Carolina rice is still one of the best food bargains in American grocery stores. The last time I looked a couple of year ago, a five pound bag of Carolina enriched rice was about $5. CIO

I made a salad consisting of a few handfuls of iceberg lettuce in a large soup bowl with two plum tomatoes cut lengthwise into sixths and three ounces of Cabot Vermont extra sharp cheddar cheese diced into half inch by quarter inch chunks and a 3.75 ounce tin of Bumble Bee sardines without the oil and two ounces of Stop and Shop cheese and garlic croutons seasoned and 1.5 ounces of sliced black olives with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning, oregano, dried onion bits, Lowry's seasoned salt, with grated parmesan cheese on it and Wish Bone balsamic vinegar dressing and extra virgin olive oil. I will eat with a 12 ounce glass of diet Fresca and some of the rice mixture once it is done. I will now go outside again to bay at the moon. CIO

03/24/18 Saturday 2:25 A.M. I went through some spare parts. I found another Roku device which I put on the secondary Westinghouse television in the bedroom on HDMI port 2. I put the Roku remote control by the left side of the television with the Westinghouse TV remote control. I connected the bedroom LAN cable to a four port TrendNet net switch. I connected that net switch to the Dell Android computer, the secondary Apple laptop, and the Asus netbook. Since the Asus Netbook LAN connector is defective, I used a TrendNet USB LAN connector. Thus all three devices download at 50 to 100 Mbps and Upload at 35 Mbps. I went outside twice. I was told by neighbors that the coyote that was spotted a few days ago is the size of a German Shepard, and it killed another dog by the baseball field that day. I have seen a Carolina Red Wolf or Texas Red Wolf in the area about six years ago. I ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts and a 12 ounce glass of diet Fresca. I took a 15 ounce can of Campbell's French onion soup, and I opened it up, and I put it in a plastic microwave proof pot with lid, and I added 3/4th of a cup of water, and I seasoned it with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, oregano, one chicken bouillon cube, dried onion bits, and Lowry's seasoned salt and stirred it, and I microwave it on 60% power for six minutes and stirred it, and I put it all in a large Cobalt blue soup bowl, and I added about 15 Stop and Shop cheese and garlic croutons and grated parmesan and Romano cheese, and I ate it with a salad consisting of a few handfuls of iceberg lettuce in a large soup bowl with two plum tomatoes cut lengthwise into sixths and four 1 ounce slices of Swiss cheese cut into half inch wide strips and a 3.75 ounce tin of Bumble Bee sardines without the oil and two ounces of Stop and Shop cheese and garlic croutons seasoned with garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning, oregano, dried onion bits, Lowry's seasoned salt, with grated parmesan cheese on it and Wish Bone balsamic vinegar dressing and extra virgin olive oil. I bought two 33.8 ounce bottles of www.perrier.com for $2 each for $4 total. I used the bathroom at www.starbucks.com . I sat outside for a while on a very quiet night. I then returned home. 03/23/18 Friday 12:40 A.M. On the Dell Android computer in the bedroom, the USB headset works including microphone, but the audio plugged into the LED TV did not work. I tried installing the a SoundBlaster 5.1 PCI audio card, but it did not work. I then plugged the mono audio cable into the front audio speaker port, and the audio started working. I then plugged a shorter stereo audio cable from the motherboard audio speaker jack into the TV monitor, and it now works just fine in stereo. The only thing is that if one pulls out the CPU from underneath the desk, one has to first disconnect the shorter stereo audio cable. I will now go outside again. CIO
03/22/18 Thursday 11:30 P.M. I chatted with two different relatives. I used a longer HDMI cable, and I have Remix Android computer now connected to HDMI 3 on the Insignia television. I put the Google Chromcast that works off the primary work computer when the wireless receiver is connected to it connected to the Insignia television on the HDMI port splitter. I moved the Dell Android computer to underneath the bedroom desk. I have it hooked up to the LED 20 inch television on its VGA port with it connected to the second larger Netgear switch with a 50 foot LAN cable and I also put on the new Logitech wireless keyboard and wireless mouse set and a Logitech USB headset. It seems to work just fine. I went outside again. CIO

03/21/18 Wednesday 10:20 P.M. On the Dell Android computer, I backed up the apps to a new folder, and then I copied the new folder to a USB pen drive. I then disconnected the Dell Android computer from its accessories, and I hooked back up the HP backup computer. I got email from Logitech on the MK710 wireless keyboard and mouse with suggestions for fixing it. While fiddling with it on the primary work computer, I discovered that in the rear upper right hand corner, there is a very small on and off switch for the keyboard which was turned off. I turned it on, and it all started working just fine. I hooked it up to the HP backup computer. I will now go outside again. CIO

03/21/18 Wednesday 6:55 P.M. I moved the 25 foot LAN cable to the Roku device on the Insignia television. I put the two new 25 LAN cables on the Remix Android desktop on the Haier and the Insignia televisions. I tried to flash the bios on the Dell Android computer, but the bios flash would not work. On the Dell Android computer, one can not install Windows 8 or Windows 10, and I thought flashing the bios with an update might fix that to no avail. I will now go outside again. CIO

Since more than likely I would never used the Remix Android device in the bedroom, I moved it to the primary work computer setup connected the Ocosmo television monitor on HDMI 2. It works just fine like the bedroom setup. I put in a switchable power strip to turn on the Remix device and USB splitter power. On the rear of the same power strip, I have the power adapter switch for the Obi internet telephone device. The Remix device is connected to high speed LAN nearby. I will now go outside again. CIO

The local television in this area from Cablevision really does not tell much about what is going on in the world in general. However, now they have so much security around airports, casual visitors are frowned upon. The liberals in this are just requote CNN or the New York Times which is usually old news. The conservatives are not easily brain washed by the media, so they just wait and see what happens next or chat about the weather. CIO

The ones left in America after the American revolution became the United States Marine Corps still guarding naval ships. Alas, most people are no longer traditional around here anymore, since money or wampum which they call it in America seems to determine the bottom line. Whether the English speaking people of America have any influence here anymore is pretty much open to debate. All we see on conservative Fox News television is mostly screaming women, and not too much thought or logic. Locally there seems to be a group of psychological warfare experts trying to bother the local sedate community which for what purpose I do not know. All I do know if there are any people left in town here, they are not spending anytime on Greenwich Avenue. I guess we are competing against Amazon and our neighboring communities. Nobody ever communicates with me locally, so I guess the local business community knows whom is whom. 03/17/18 Saturday 10:25 P.M. I ate a bowl of Planters peanuts with a 10.5 ounce glass of www.perrier.com with a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters. Perrier sparkling spring water is over a billion years old, so it tends not to go bad. When I first came of www.nantucket.net in December 1983, I visited a pub in Manhattan near Citibank's corporate headquarters, and I met a doctor that looked like Nelson Rockefeller. He told me his job was to try to keep people working at the www.un.org from drinking alcohol. That night he was drinking Perrier and Angostura bitters. He also had enough money to pay a $1,500 tab for his party at the table. I guess people in Manhattan have a bit more money that their country cousins. Supposedly lawyers in Manhattan make $3,000 to $5,000 an hour, where out here in the boon docks of Connecticut, I think they get about $800 an hour. To get a law degree today probably costs about a half million dollars. One problem with a poor lawyer is that they can afford to buy the most recent law books which are very expensive. Perrier used to have their corporate headquarters across the street from me here in Byram, but they were bought out by Great Waters of France which is owned by Nestle. Nestle has offices in White Plains, New York; and I think Great Waters of France moved to Trumbull, Connecticut. I once attended a Perrier party at the Old Greenwich Hyatt Hotel, and I recall chatting with somebody from Dallas, Texas. I guess they drink more of it in hot weather. The chef at Le Languedoc in Nantucket where I worked used to drink six to 12 bottles of Perrier a night while working over a hot stove to avoid dehydration. The Duke of Windsor made Perrier famous in his world, because he always took it with him, when he traveled, and he would mix it with Bell's Scotch whisky which is not available in the U.S.A., but they still sell it up in Canada. Alexander Graham Bell was also Scottish, if you did not know. CIO

Thus the Scottish have a bit of a presence in America. From what I know about the Scottish is that most of them are bigger people. Thus a tiny Scottish person like me at 6 feet tall and 218 pounds is no match for the larger Scottish people. When I was around some bigger Scottish people in Kennebunkport, Maine, I once saw a Scottish man at the Kennebunk, Maine department of motor vehicles who was about 7 feet 4 inches tall. The British always used Scottish for their more formidable military in that fighting the Scottish for 400 years, they learned how formidable they were. Even the Queen Mum of England was hundred percent Scottish from one of the most prominent families in Scotland. I will now go outside again before showering and cleaning up. Also Judge Walker here in Greenwich is probably Scottish. Here in America, the Scottish celebrate Robert Burns Days. Maybe even Burns Security is Scottish. Andrew Carnegie's niece lived most of her married life in Greenwich, Connecticut married to a prominent Rockefeller banker who was president of Citibank whose name was Stillman Rockefeller. The Stillman family are a wealthy Texas family. Thus being Andrew Carnegie's niece, she more than likely was Scottish. Vanderbilt. He organized the Standard Oil Trust for John D. Rockefeller. His telegraph operator was Andrew Carnegie. The Warburg Bank of Germany financed their economic ventures. However, all I got was computer prompts with nobody answering. 03/16/18 Friday 3:55 P.M. I went through the white wicker magazine rack, and I took out all of the old magazines and periodical literature, and I threw them away in the recycle dumpster. I did not get any mail today. I chatted with a neighbor. The neighbor told me, if one leaves three indoor plants by their bed, one feels better with the fresh oxygen, when one sleeps. I will now work more on configuring the apps on the Haier Remix Android computer desktop. It is a good day for flying kites. When my father was doing business with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in the textile business in the 1950s, the Japanese one gave me a 15 foot long dragon kit. In Japan, one is supposed to fly a kite on the Emperor of Japan's birthday. Back in February 1975, when I threw a $5 all you can drink party in a loft above an Oldsmobile showroom on West 57th Street across from the CBS broadcast center, I chatted with a young Japanese concert pianist named Lance who was supposed to be Emperor Hirohito's grandson. I also learned back in 1978, when New York City was bankrupt, they Royal Bank of Tokyo bought the building on the northeast corner of Park Avenue and 57th Street and opened their bank there. They were very popular, since they paid the New York City people in cash, and the New York City people then did not have to pay income tax. CIO

I then went further downtown to the Board of Education parking lot veterans monument. For some odd reason www.starbucks.com was closed at 9:30 P.M. instead of 10 P.M.. They were cleaning up inside. I then went by the Stop and Shop. I bought a head of Foxy iceberg lettuce for $1.69, four Stop and Shop buttermilk biscuit tubes for .79 each, two 15 ounce bottles of Wish Bone balsamic vinegar dressing for $2 each, and eight plum tomatoes for .99 a pound for $1.72 for $10.55 total. 03/15/18 Thursday 4:00 P.M. The Microsoft receiver does not work with the wireless Microsoft 6000 keyboard and wireless mouse. I guess I should have known that, but I took a gamble. I could always use the Microsoft receiver from the new spare Microsoft Wireless 7000 keyboard and wireless mouse, but it would be expensive to replace, if it malfunctioned. I did a Factory reset on the Android Remix desktop computer, and it is now installing the OS updates. It seems to work just fine. I now have to configure it, but first I will go outside again. CIO

When I first moved into this building at 71 Vinci Drive around 29 years ago, I had a friend visit regularly for 20 years who had grown up next door to Helen Clay Frick in Bedford, New York. One of the first one time visitors was Donald Trump's caddie from Rye, New York. In computers, at that time I met a software engineers for Schweppes beverages. He was pretty good in computers, and he once visited me in this building, and he was supposed to move in here, but I think with the internet he became successful. He lives over in Stamford, Connecticut, and the last time I saw him about 28 years ago, he weighed around 800 pounds, so he does not do much exercise walking on Greenwich Avenue. On local economics, about the only thing I learned is that David Rockefeller has 28 grandsons, so more than likely they are well networked. I will now go outside again. I will then shower and clean up. CIO

I guess when one lives up north most of their life, winter is pretty much what I have always been used to. Of course England is 1500 miles further north of the north of Hudson's Bay, and nobody visits Hudson's Bay. Thus if England did not get the Atlantic Gulf Stream, it would probably be as cold as northern Canada. I think historically the Gulf Steam has changed course making it colder in Northern Europe. I was told in Key West in 1976 that if one altered the Gulf Steam flowing between Key West and Cuba, it would alters a lot of people's weather. CIO

I used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts center. The two older German Shepard police dogs were out breaking in a new younger German Shepard police dog. I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue. I sat out at various location. I stopped by CVS again, and I bought twelve 3.75 ounce Bumble Bee sardines for $1 each for $12 total. I then finished my walk. I then went by the Stop and Shop on West Putnam Avenue. I bought a 59 ounce carton of Florida Natural orange juice with calcium for $3, two 64 ounce Welch's grape juice for $3.99 each, two 64 ounce Ocean Spray cranraspberry juice for $2.50 each, two 14 ounce Kashi golden almond cerial for $2.50 each, five Knorr rice mixtures for $4.50 all, and a rotisserie chicken for $4.99 for $30.86 total. It seems to work just fine, but various microphones do not work. I installed about 200 apps on it, and I am now backing up the apps. I will go outside again.

03/13/18 Tuesday 9:10 P.M. I chatted with a relative. I went outside four times. I copied the Android apps backup folder from the USB pen drive to the Remix folder. I am now restoring the Android apps using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en . To restore the apps from the backup folder, one has to set the default backup folder to the Remix backup folder that I copied. I am restoring about 150 apps. I ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts with a glass of cold filtered water.
03/13/18 Tuesday 5:30 P.M. On the Dell Pentium 4 computer, Ubuntu 15.1 installed, but the Remix OS was too hard to install. I then installed Windows SP1 professional, and I did not activate it. I then installed the 32 bit version of Remix available here https://www.fosshub.com/Remix-OS.html , and I installed it from Windows 7, and now Remix OS comes up on Windows 7 boot manager, and it boots up just fine. I now have to configure it. I unstacked the HP backup and the Dell Pentium 4 CPUs, and I put the Dell Pentium 4 on the HP backups right side. I went outside twice. CIO
03/13/18 Tuesday 2:10 P.M. Meanwhile in the Fifth World computer lab, I went outside again. I found a Dell Pentium 4 computer out by the dumpster wrapped up. I unpacked it, and I dried off a little bit of dampness. I set it up on top of the HP backup computer connected to its devices. It booted up Windows 7 with password that I could not get around. I used the Seagate Utilities, and I did a quick low level format. It would not let me install my 32 bit copy of Windows 8. I tried to now avail to install Remix Android OS on it. I installed Ubuntu 17.1 32 bit on it, but it is not coming up with a graphical user interface. I can try an older version that I have. If I get Ubuntu on it, I can probably install Remix Android OS with this fix https://medium.com/@deepakpk/how-to-dual-boot-remixos-with-ubuntu-c7ee2d973f72 . I went outside a few times. I picked up the mail. I will now go outside again. The Dell Pentium 4 computer has 3 GB of memory and 160 GB Samsung SATA hard drive. It is a medium size tower. I am uploading my current Android MicroSD backup folder to my server to have available for download, if I ever need it. Over time, I will probably delete some apps to free up a bit of space. Still I know how to configure and tweak computers, so this activity keeps me a bit up to date. If I had a 6 inch 32 GB Android cell phone, I could probably restore the backup from a microSD card, but it might be tedious pressing "Done" for 170 apps. I will now go outside again. CIO

On the Insignia Android computer, I took the Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard off of it, and I put the Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard on it, which seems to be more responsive. I moved some of my most frequently used apps icons to the desktop. Also when opening an app from icon on the desktop one does not double click it, but right clicks it, and presses open. I took the Microsoft wireless keyboard and wireless mouse off the Insignia Android computer setup, and I put it in the bedroom to use on the bedroom Android desktop setup. I took the Logitech wireless keyboard and wireless mouse off the HP backup computer, and I put it on the Insignia Android desktop. I put the USB wired keyboard and the Logitech wireless mouse on the HP backup computer. I am now listening to Pandora play Mitch Miller radio which is I guess my generation's music before disco sped us up. I also put the NASA Hubble photographs on both Android computers, so one can look at a lot of stars out there in the galaxy. That was quite an expensive project for star gazers, and the second Hubble telescope mirror was made in Danbury, Connecticut by with Hughes Satellite or Perkin Elmer. I forget which now. There use to be a pub next to the BMW car dealership up there, where they were trying to keep it secret. That is where I met Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands's nephew who got me interested in volcanoes, and he wanted to be the first hypersonic pilot. I remember another tall Texan who used to sell tobacco, and when I mentioned www.ibm.com , he said "Itty Bitty Minds". One never knows what one's neighbors are doing in this neck of the woods. I have a spare new Microsoft wireless 6000 keyboard and mouse set that I plan to use on my current work computer, if the equally expensive Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse ever quit working. However, even though Microsoft has a lot of bells and whistles, the Logitech wireless keyboard has keyboard encryption, so a key stroke logger can not follow one's key strokes easily to steal one's passwords, which feature Microsoft does not have. 03/09/18 Friday 6:05 A.M. I went outside five times. The first time I got the head light and the CVS lantern out of the back seat of the car. I then had to go in and outside, because the valet key would not work to lock the car door, so I had to get the automatic key which key would not work in the door lock, but the automatic button does. Also the driver's side rear seat door does not unlock and lock with the automatic key, so one has to manually unlock it and lock it. I then put three AA alkaline batteries in the head light, and it now works, and I also tested the CVS lantern with a Chinese LED lantern bulb which did not work, but it still works with the regular light bulb. I put those lights back in the back seat of the Volvo wagon with the Ray-O-Vac black and red flashlight which has a regular Chinese LED flashlight bulb in it and two new CVS alkaline D batteries. I then tried using one of the four tubes of lock deicer on the car door lock, but the one that I tried had no air pressure left in it, since it was old. I brought up the Jim Wynn Volvo light, and I put four new AA alkaline batteries in it, and its flashlight part works fine, but not its six inch florescent tube. It does not work with a Chinese LED bulb either. I then took the Eveready combination flashlight, orange flasher, and florescent bulb light and I put four new CVS alkaline D batteries in it, and it also took two new Chinese LED lantern bulbs, and it works fine. However, for some reason, when one removes the bottom battery cover and replaces it, it does not want to work, but after a few times it worked just fine. So do not remove the battery cover on it. Also the flasher now only works with the florescent light turned on. I put it in the back seat of the Volvo and the Jim Wynn light on the front passenger side door pocket. I also put in my new www.geico.com insurance card that starts April 8, 2018. I will pay that bill on the first of April. I tried to get the faulty yellow and black lantern to work, but it is a hopeless case, so I put in in the garbage. I took out its bulb and the four D battery holder. The purple and black Garrity lantern in the apartment works just fine with the Chinese LED lantern bulb. However, my Peak 2 million watt rechargeable lantern does not seem to be holding too much of a charge for too long anymore. CIO
03/09/18 Friday 3:15 A.M. I got out all of the gadgets to hook up the third Remix Android computer to the right primary Westinghouse computer in the bedroom. It should be the same basic setup, except that it will be a wired USB keyboard with extension cable. What is sort of strange is that the Section 8 inspector and my Social worker basically ordered me to get rid of all of the www.ibm.com equipment and spare older laptops saying that it was all a fire hazard. The reason for having the LAN cables instead of using the wireless is that LAN cables can not be hacked where wireless can be hacked. Obviously there are experienced hackers nearby in this neighborhood. Since I have about seventeen thousand pages of web notes not to mention my lengthy internet directory and other information on my web sites, I obviously have documented all of my expenses and hassles running a personal computer operation out of my apartment. My neighbors tell me that the individuals whom think they are above the law do not like people on the internet. I reported that 85% of the U.S.A. residents are on the internet and 75% use high speed connections, so obviously the small minority of people whom do not like the internet, probably have other problems. Actually the Kip family is an old Dutch New Amsterdam family, if one has ever heard of Kip's Bay area of Manhattan. Far Hills, New Jersey is near Gladstone, New Jersey where Jay Coogan lived, and near Bedminster, New Jersey where Donald www.wh.gov Trump has a home, and near Pea Pack, New Jersey where Jack Kennedy's widow lived, so in such a small rural area, they probably all knew each other. Of course I know other people from New Jersey, since a relative graduated in Larry Rockefeller's class from www.princeton.edu years ago. Also when one visits Manhattan, there tend to be a lot of people from New Jersey on the west side. I bought two 16 ounce jars of Planter's Dry Roasted peanuts for $3 each for $6 total. They now have more new type of electronics including Philips and Griffin items, but they are not on sale. I then drove further down Greenwich Avenue to the Board of Education parking lot. I chatted with a regular at www.starbucks.com . I used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue. I sat out at various locations. I stopped by Zyn Stationary, and I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and my Queen did not beat a King for a thousand dollar prize. I then toured CVS again. I was told that it says on the small containers of antibacterial soap that one is not suppose to refill them with the big containers of antibacterial soap which are a lot cheaper and does not make sense. I bought six 6.5 ounce packages of Fig Newtons for .99 each for $5.94 total. I then went back by Starbucks. I thanked the young employee there at night for helping me get up when I slipped on black ice at the white stripe at the Senior and the Arts Center two weeks ago. I used the bathroom there. I chatted with a computer person. I then went by the Stop and Shop. 03/07/18 Wednesday 9:30 A.M. I restored the backup to the Haier television Android computer. It works just fine. In using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en to restore the backup that I made with it from the 16 GB microSD card, in the backup program's settings, one has to set its backup location for the microSD card. One also has to enable automatic install and uninstall and log off of and disable Google. Also one can not select to backup all of the files at one time. One should only select ten files at a time. It works just fine for restoring the backup files. I watched series 2 episodes 6 and 7 of "Versailles" while doing the restore. I also ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts. I went outside. I will now shut down the primary work computer. I will eat a bowl of a half portion of reheated Knorr teriyaki rice with a glass of cold filtered water. I ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts with my right hand while I was pushing "Done" with the mouse with my left hand on the completed restore of the Insignia Android computer. It works just fine, and the only thing different is that the restored icons are not on the desktop, but only in the applications folder. However, there is now also a TV mode icon that displays all of the icons on the desktop. I did another backup of the Insignia Android computer to the other 16 GB microSD card. I did a factory reset of the Haier TV Android computer, and I am just about ready to restore the same 150 apps. The nice thing is that there is now 2 GB of free storage space on the internal drive. !!!!!! 03/07/18 Wednesday 4:00 A.M. It started snowing about 3 A.M.. I went outside about four times. On the Haier Android computer, I tried doing a restore of Backup + backup from the Insignia Android computer, but it would not work because the computer was not rooted. I found this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en , and I made a backup of the Insignia Android computer to the 16 GB microSD card. I was able to figure out how to restore it to the Haier Android computer. In cleaning up file space, I accidently deleted the backup. I then made another backup of the Insignia Android computer. However, when I was rebooting both Android computers to change the microSD card, they both started optimizing at boot for a long time, and when they started, they were both buggy. On the Insignia computer, I did a F2 boot, and I installed the Factory refresh. I am now restoring the backup to it. I have to select done after each app is restored. I guess I will have to do the same on the Haier Android computer. I do not know if both Android computers were hacked or it was some other malfunction. CIO

03/06/18 Tuesday 5:50 A.M. On the Insignia television Android device, I used "Web Tools: FTP, SSH, HTTP", and I uploaded the most recent backup folder of Backup + from its 16 GB microSD card. That took about three hours to upload over wireless. It is about 2.25 GB folder. Technically, if I want to resort the apps, I could download the folder to the same location on the microSD card and try to restore it with Backup+. I have not succeeded with a restore yet, but I have not tried a restore on the same Android computer that the backup was made from. CIO
03/06/18 Tuesday 5:45 A.M. On the Haier television, the HDMI 1 one in source is the cable television from the bedroom cable box. On HDMI 2 in source is the HDMI splitter with Android desktop computer on port 5 and the Roku device on port 5. I put one of the little folding oak tables behind the Ethan Allen recliner on the window side, so it is available to use with the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse from the Ethan Allen recliner. Thus technically one could watch the bedroom cable box with one channel on the Haier television and the living room cable box on the Insignia television at the same time. Thus one can watch two news casts, two sporting events, two talks shows, or two whatever. I will now go outside again. CIO
03/06/18 Tuesday 5:05 A.M. I did some more Mickey Magic. I took the remote controls for the Haier television setup in the living room, and I moved them to the white wicker table on the window side of the Ethan Allen recliner. I then moved the Craig DVD player and Sony Player to the mahogany table on the right side of the Queen Anne chair. I then setup the bedroom Android desktop computer with its devices on the Haier 32 inch television front folding oak table. On the HDMI selector it is port 5. On turns it one with a power strip in front of the JVC sound bar. Its audio plays through the JVC sound bar on Aux and through the Haier television. I hung the Microsoft headset on the right side of the Queen Anne chair with it still plugged in. If one wants to use it, it is a simple task to move the small wooden chair from the far end of the oak dining table by it to in front of the second Android computer setup. Thus two people could use both of them like the buddy system. Of course if somebody was using the Haier television Android desktop setup, it would block the Queen Chair and the Ethan Allen recliner. Still it is better than trying to use if from the bedroom bed. I will now go outside again. CIO

I put the 16 GB microSD card back in the bedroom Android computer. I shut down both Android computers. I went outside. 03/03/18 Saturday 11:00 P.M. I had to shut down the unprotected neighborhood wireless, since I was getting a major denial of service attack which seems to always happen when I run it an emergency. It also slowed down my internet connection for downloading the Android apps to about one tenth the speed. It would seem the hacker would have to be in this building or about 1200 feet away. On the bedroom Android computer, I installed a lot of apps from the top 500 list in the Google Play Store. I still have to install the Editor's choice apps and also open them up an enter any passwords. I ate a bowl of dry roasted peanuts. I went outside, and I chatted with neighbors. CIO

03/03/18 Saturday 4:15 A.M. I chatted with a neighbor. I preheated the Farberware convection oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. I took the 31.5 ounce DiGiorno Supreme pizza, and I took it out of its box and off its cardboard bottom, and I put garlic powder, ground black pepper, Italian spices, oregano, Lowry's seasoned salt, dried onion, grated parmesan cheese, and extra virgin olive oil on it. I baked it in the Farberware convection oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit on the center wire rack for about 18 minutes until done and medium light brown. I removed it from the oven on its wire rack with pot holders, and I slid it onto the maple cutting board, and I will cut it into quarters with the pizza cutter wheel, and I l refrigerated half in a Rubbermaid container with lid, and I ate the other half with a knife and fork and a 12 ounce glass of diet Fresca. 03/02/18 Friday 7:50 P.M. I went outside. I did not get any mail today. One of my neighbors told me all of the power is off in Riverside and Cos Cob. I washed the breakfast dishes. I made my bed. I go way back with www.ibm.com . My stepfather who was a banker knew Thomas Watson Jr. all of his life. When I was at Greenwich Country Day School until 1965, Susan Watson was two years behind me. I went to her coming out debutante party at the St. Regis roof in the summer of 1971. That summer at Polaroid, I also used IBM manuals to write a Cobal spread sheet for an IBM 360 that Polaroid had. When I lived on Bittersweet Lane in New Canaan in 1966, a family from California lived next door to us, and the father was a vice president for IBM in charge of International. I used to go to the Round Hill Church where Olive Watson used to go to church. However, like the Bushs IBM has so many friends and associates they forget about a lot of people. Even a former President of IBM is a neighbor in Kennbunkport. Perhaps with their world wide network they know more that I do, since nobody ever chats with me. The only person that I ever saw with an IBM name tag in Greenwich was a guy that looked like Bill Gates but slightly taller, and he was from Stamford, and he was campaigning for Ross Perot at the Greenwich Library. Another former IBM president was a neighbor of the Watson family in Belle Haven, and he also has a house in www.nantucket.net. Also in Chicago in the fall of 1972, I also lived next door to IBM's 40 story building in downtown Chicago. Thus I have probably been around IBM people most of my life. However, they have cut back, and they no longer pay a million dollars a minute to advertise on prime time television. Also Olive Watson Junior was down in Key West when I was there. CIO

03/02/18 Friday 6:50 A.M. I moved the Microsoft USB headset from the HP backup computer to the Android desktop with a six foot USB extension cord. I put the Logitech 3.5 mm two wire headset on the HP backup computer. On the Android desktop, I bought the "Sound About" app for $2.99. In the Sound About app, I enabled the wired USB headset. Now the microphone on the Microsoft USB headset works just fine with it. I tested it with "Hello Google" without any problems. In Skype, the microphone app is crossed out in the calling program, but it still does work. I also put Amazon Kindle and Amazon Music on it. It is a dang good little computer for $29. CIO

I took the Logitech two wire headset off the HP backup computer, and I took the Microsoft USB headset off the Android computer, and I put it back on the HP backup computer. Also the 64 GB microSD card did not work on the Android computer, but I am supposed to get the PNY 16 GB microSD card today. With the Microsoft USB headset removed from the Android computer, the Insignia HDMI speakers and the Boston Acoustics sound bar speakers stay on. The Microsoft USB headset kept over riding their setting. I am listening to the Royal Philharmonic orchestra off Pandora on the Android setup. It is currently playing the Nutcracker Suite by you know whom. However, the Logitech USB web cam does work on the Android computer, so one technically could use sign language with Skype on the big screen. CIO
