Michael Louis Scott's Ice Tea Mixture, one can vary it depending on what is available:
In a gallon Rubbermaid container add:
16 packets of artificial sweetener
1/4th cup of lime juice
1/4th cup of lemon juice
2 teaspoons of Angostura Bitters
In a Cuisine Art drip coffee maker, put in the filter basket with out tags on them:
2, Twinnings Earle Grey tea bags
2, Twinnings Irish Breakfast tea bags
2, Bigelow Chamomile tea bags
2, Abound Evening Herbal tea bags
6, Lipton green tea bags
2, Lipton decaffeinated tea bags
Brew a gallon of the tea in the Cusine Art coffee machine with Poland Spring water, put it gradually in the Rubbermaid container as it brews using a Pyrex measuring cup. Shake when partially full.
Put the Rubbermaid container with tea mixture in the refrigerator to chill
Brew another quart of tea and put in a quart Rubbermaid container for unflavored tea.
Also you can brew a cup with a little bit of flavoring and artificial sweetener to drink after you are done.
Put the used tea bags in a plastic tea bag in case anyone needs to reuse them or use them in their garden.
Enjoy you Iced Tea.
