Merry Christmas and Happy New Years,
This past year has been a quiet one. I spent a good deal of my time working on my home office computer equipment. I never left Greenwich. Back in July 2022, I came down with Covid 19, and I was able to recover after a couple of weeks, but I had the after effects for four months afterwards. I still spend a lot of time people watching on Greenwich Avenue when the weather is clear. With the higher price of fuel, I do not drive very far any more. Still my home office is running just fine. I guess at an older age, I have advanced skills having worked with personal computers since 1989. I stay in touch with my family whom live elsewhere. I have the movies and other media to watch off the internet in my free time. I save time by not going to the Greenwich Library anymore, and I order a lot of items and food off the internet to save on travel. From my perspective Greenwich still has not changed very much in the sixty years that I have mostly lived here. I read the local media on a daily basis. I watch the national news mostly when I eat meals. I stay in touch with friends on the telephone and a few through the internet. Now that winter has arrived, it has gotten colder here, but I am used to it. I am not paying much attention to national politics anymore, since there is such a large world out there with the internet. I still see a lot of people visiting our small town in the warmer weather. With the higher price of fuel, I am not visiting the waterfront anymore. I see more younger people walking around, when I am downtown. I am still mostly on a night time and early morning schedule which has been part of my routine most of my life. Peace on Earth.
