05/28/20 Thursday 10:45 P.M.  For June 2020, I paid my http://optonline.net/  Digital Cable TV, Optimum Boost Plus, Optimum Voice, and my http://www.verizon.net/ bill and my www.eversource.com electricity account.  My current Optimum bill was $271 which is about $105 for high speed Cable Modem Internet, $35 for Optimum Voice long distance and about $131 for premium Cable TV.  However that includes $50 in discounts for all three packages which covers the two cable boxes which are about $12 and taxes other fees.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

05/28/20 Thursday 9:15 P.M.  I was able to extend the long LAN cable, so it reaches the TP-Link wireless router for a faster connection off the bedroom devices.   On my Optimum 5 G connection off the bedroom Optimum D-Link wireless router, I am only getting 40 mbps download off my Apple cell phone on 5 G.  Optimum WiFi users should be able to use their accounts off the signal.  I will now go outside, and I will drink an instant coffee.  CIO

05/28/20 Thursday 8:35 P.M.  I did some more Mickey Magic.  I took the long LAN cable from the living room net switch to the bedroom net switch, and I connected it to the older wireless Netgear wireless router, and I have the long LAN cable connected to the Optimum D-Link router near the bedroom cable with it connected to the bedroom netswitch.  Thus the Optimum Wifi signal should be available to Optimum users near the front entrance outside.  CIO

05/27/20 Wednesday 11:00 A.M.  I went out to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue.  I bought buy two get one free of three 12 packs of www.coke.com Zero Sugar and two 12 packs of Fresca and a 12 pack of diet Dr. Pepper for $6.59 for four and $3.60 can deposit and $1.94 tax for $31.90 total.  I then bought a container of Seventh Generation disinfectant wipes for $3.99 and .25 tax for $4.24 total.  I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts center, and I sat out briefly.  I then went by the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought two 8 packs of Jimmy Dean frozen sausage, egg, and cheese croissants for $11.99 each 8 pack, a half gallon of unsweetened vanilla almond milk for $3, two 16.9 ounce Banquet Salisbury steak dinners for $3.49 each, a 8 ounce Guldens ground mustard seed for $1.69, a 2 pound bag of Mandarin oranges for $5.99 for $41.64 total.  I then bought three chunks of Van Kass Dutch smoked gouda cheese for $4.99 a pound for $5.66, and $5.16, and $4.72 for $15.54 total.   I then returned home.  I sat outside.  I put away my groceries in the green bag, and then I put the green bag in the car, and I used my little folding cart to brink up the soda.  I then put the little folding cart back in the car, and I drank an instant coffee.  I filed this report.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

05/23/20 Saturday 4:00 A.M.  The Apple Imac in the bedroom is all updated and works just fine, and I put the LAN cables back the way they were, and they are working fast enough at 80 mbps download at this hour.  For its LAN to work, one has to turn on the Netswitch on the bedroom desk with its power strip and the lower 24 port Netgear netswitch to the right of the primary work computer.  It does work off wireless too, but I do not use that.  I moved the two Lasko heaters from the bedroom to behind the Ethan Allen recliner to make the bedroom less cluttered.  CIO

05/23/20 Saturday 3:00 A.M.  On the bedroom Apple Imac to get it download the latest operating system update, I connected its LAN cable directly to the 8 port Netswitch by the primary work computer, so with high speed without the other two net switches, I have downloaded the update, and it take a while now to install it.  I also have to install the application updates.  I will then connect up its LAN to the slower net switches, after it is updated.  I went outside.  I will now go outside again, and I will drink an instant coffee.  CIO

05/14/20 Thursday 8:30 P.M.  I moved the Cuisine Art food processor and its attachment back into the kitchen by the kitchen chair.  I moved the two plastic garbage cans by the near side of the oak dining table.  I moved the six person tent to the underneath back side of the oak dining table.  I put the folding oak table from behind the Ethan Allen recliner behind the bathroom door.  I moved the ten inch fan to the right front of the living room desk.  In the open space behind the Ethan Allen recliner, I moved the www.harvard.edu chair from in front of the living room closets to behind the Ethan Allen recliner with the Armour Vienna sausages and Quaker snack bars stored underneath it with the disinfectant sprayer and some sort of Hindu dried food to the right of the Harvard chair along with the two 17 inch laptop carrying cases.  I now have the entry area of the apartment more opened with only one office chair on wheels in front of the living room closets.  I will now go outside again.  CIO

05/13/20 Wednesday 7:25 P.M.  I went outside about three times.  The order with tracking number of "1Z4E37X00312008281"  at www.ups.com on the order for two refurbished https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1468263-REG/tp_link_tl_sg1024d_r_24_port_gigabit_desktop_rackmount_switch.html for $39.99 each with $5.08 tax for $85.06 total arrived.  On the primary work computer setup, I removed the three plastic Netgear 8 port LAN switches and the Netgear 16 port LAN switch and one of the Ankee LAN cams, and I  installed the two new tp link 24 port switches which turn on with the power strip beneath them and I put the primary work computer on a metal Netgear 8 port switch that still turns on with the center power strip front switch.  I stored the old switches in front of the white bureau in the bedroom for now.  I will now go outside, and I will drink an instant coffee.
