I then drove down to the Senior and the Arts Center. I got my 2019 parking permit for the Senior Center for $5. I then chatted with a www.starbucks.com regular. I stopped by Zyn Stationary, and I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and I lost. I then used the bathroom at Starbucks. I then sat out for a while longer. I then went by the Stop and Shop at 161 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought a five gallon bottle of Poland Spring water with bottle return for $7.99, two clearance items of Stop and Shop 5 quart powdered milk for $4.09 each and two 8 ounce packs of Stop and Shop shredded five Italian cheese for $2 each for $20.17 total. I then returned home. I sat outside briefly. I used my little folding cart to bring up the water. I then put the cart back in the rear of the Volvo wagon. I then sat outside some more. I then went to Walgreen's, but they now close at midnight. I then stopped by www.mcdonalds.com at exit 5 entrance in Riverside, and I bought a triple hamburger and a small coffee with Splenda sweetener and milk for $4.14, and I ate it there, and then I used the bathroom there. I then drove back downtown to the Board of Education parking lot. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area and Railroad Avenue and back up Arch Street. I then went by CVS at 644 West Putnam Avenue, and I used the bathroom there, and I bought another Himalayan Salt lamp for $19. and $1.27 tax for $21.26 total. I then returned home. I sat outside briefly. I hooked up the Sharper Image wireless television headset to the Samsung television in the living room connected to the headphone jack, and it works just fine and plenty loud with wireless. I left it on a power strip, so the headset stays charged up. The only draw back is plugging it into the headset jack mutes the television speakers. One also has to push the button on the wireless remote to turn it on. I will now go outside again. CIO
12/31/18 Monday 2:05 A.M. The Sharper Image Television wireless headset does not have enough volume, so I will return it shortly to Walgreen's in Old Greenwich. Also it only works on the 3.5 mm plug and not the RCA or Optical connectors. CIO
12/31/18 Monday 12:35 A.M. I put the second Himalayan salt lamp on the bedroom window sill to have for a night light and eliminate odors in the bedroom. They are supposed to be good for getting rid of odors which is a lot cheaper than Glade or Air Wick refills. CIO

I chatted with a www.starbucks.com regular. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area. I sat out at various locations. After my walk, I used the bathroom at Starbucks, and then I sat out for a while. I then drove over to CVS in Cos Cob. I bought another electronic talking Wonder Bible KIng James version for half price for $19.99 and $1.27 tax for $21.26 total. I then went by the CVS at the Riverside shopping center. I bought for almost half price a Cannon PIXMA TS202 color inkjet printer for $19.99 and $1.43 tax and for half price a six ounce Swiss Miss caramel cream chocolate container for $2.49 for $23.91 total. I then went by the Acme grocery store. I bought six 7.5 ounce www.kraft.com shells and three cheese meals for .88 each and a 68 ounce Capatriti extra virgin olive oil for $11.88 for $17.16 total. I then went by Walgreen's, and I bought two Quaker 42 ounce one minute oatmeal for $3.49 each, two 115 count Equal artificial sweetener for $2.49 each, and for half price a Sharper Image wireless TV headphones for $29.99 and for half price a Sharper Image Light Up Word Electronic Clock for $9.99 and $2.54 tax for $54.48 total. I then drove back downtown to the Board of Education parking lot, and I sat out some more. I brought up my purchases in two trips. I filed this report. 12/28/18 Friday 3:55 P.M. I went outside. I chatted with a relative. The Phillips bluetooth speaker radio also works with bluetooth off the Iphone 5S. On the Iphone 5S, I called "611", and I chatted with my AT&T account person. They are extending my account for another year deducting $75 from my account, so I now have $393 left on it. It will need to be renewed by December 28, 2019. I have not data on the plan, it is just ten cents a minutes. However, Mobile VOIP charges 7 cents a minute, and they did not charge me anything for trying to call Europe. I will now go outside again. CIO

It costs 59 cents a minute with AT&T GoPhone account to call England, but I have Skype and Mobile VOIP on it which are only about a penny a minute for overseas. I think with the AT&T GoPhone account for domestic calls, it is either five or ten cents a minute. Also I can not its Bluetooth to connect to the Bluetooth speakers. I will now go outside again. CIO

12/27/18 Thursday 2:30 A.M. I ate a 1/6 piece of ten inch fresh pumpkin pie with lots of extra creamy cool whip and a glass of cold filtered water. I propped up the inflatable bed with mountain mummy sleep bag and pillow against the living room closets, so it is easier to use the oak dining table and passage way when any unexpected guest is not sleeping there. Technically I could sleep there and let two guest have the warm full size bed in the bedroom or even another guest in the Ethan Allen recliner and possibly two smaller guests on the floor with a comforter. Let's hope in using second sight to be prepared for what ever might happen based on my budget, I have done my best. CIO

I put three of my www.llbean.com winter coats on the chairs around the oak dining table to have available without moving the air bed to open the right living room closet. However, moving the air bed to open the closets is not too difficult. I also move the head of the sleep bag by the door way, so one can watch television in bed from the direction, and I opened up the mountain sleeping bag for easy access. CIO

I move the Chippendale chair from that location to the bedroom desk. I moved small oak table from the bedroom desk to the left side of the bedroom desk with the Rubbermaid hamper on top of it. I inflated the Browning air mattress, and I put it in front of the living room closets with the mountain mummy sleeping bag on top of it with a pillow with two new Martha Stewart pillow cases. 12/25/18 Tuesday 11:55 P.M. I went downtown to www.cvs.com on Greenwich Avenue, but they were closed. I sat out across the street for a while. I then drove down by the pier on Steamboat Road. They are still working on fixing up the Steamboat Road pier, and it is all blocked off at the end. I then stopped by the Delamar Hotel. They have a beautiful decorated lobby. I got some paper money for coin change. I then went by the ATM machine at the www.chase.com bank at the top of Greenwich Avenue. I then sat out for a while at the top of Greenwich Avenue. I then drove down to the Board of Education parking lot. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area and Railroad Avenue, and I sat out across the street from the north side of the train station. I then walked up Arch street. I sat out for a while in front of the Senior and the Arts Center. Earlier in the evening the Chinese and the Japanese restaurants on lower Greenwich Avenue and the movie theatre was opened. I then went by CVS at 644 West Putnam Avenue whifch is opened 24 hours. I stopped by Zyn Stationary, and I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, and I lost. I toured the www.apple.com store, and they told me one can not buy a cell phone there for less than $500, but the minimum charge is more like $750. I chatted with a local business person. I then sat out some more. On the way home, I used the ATM machine at the www.chase.com bank at Deerfield Place. I returned home. I sat outside briefly. I then filed this report. I will now go outside and drink a 10 ounce warm home made vanilla Mocha Frappucinno coffee. I was told by the Apple store that https://www.gamestop.com/ cells refurbished Apple Iphones. However, it is only my backup phone. My similar primary new Trump Samsung phone is very slow to start up, but it does work. I usually only chat with two relatives, so it is not a major priority in retirement. It is quite nice with easy handicap access and covered picnic table seating, but this time of year, the bathrooms are closed. I then went downtown to Greenwich Avenue. I could not find a parking place on Upper Greenwich Avenue, so I went to the Senior and the Arts Center. I sat out for a while. I walked the lower Greenwich Avenue area. I viewed www.starbucks.com. I toured the www.apple.com store. I viewed Winston Florist. I chatted with a regular. I sat out some more viewing the rather busy activity for a long time. I then drove around upper Greenwich Avenue area for quite a while, and I could not find a parking place. I then went back to the Senior and the Arts Center and sat out some more. I then drove over to Whole Foods which parking lot was filled up. I toured the store, and I bought an Onion bagel for a dollar, and I ate it in front of the store at one of their outdoor tables. I then finally found a parking place on upper Greenwich Avenue. I sat out for a while across the street from www.cvs.com . I used the bathroom at CVS. I bought five Annie's macaroni and cheese, two orange and three white for .99 each for $4.95 total. I then sat out some more. I then went by Putnam Shell at 401 West Putnam Avenue, and I bought $20 of self service V-Power premium gasoline with a dime a gallon off with my Stop and Shop card for $3.299 a gallon for 6.062 gallons at odometer reading of 118556 miles for 70.5 miles driven since Saturday November 24, 2018 for 11.63 miles per gallon in local traffic. Driving around in the day time, I used a lot of gasoline looking for a parking place. I then returned home. I sat outside. I put the yellow pillow on top of the pink pillow on the white captains chair in the kitchen to make it feel more comfortable. I might have more endurance than people think, because way out on www.nantucket.net on the sandy roads I used to jog a lot for many miles and in Manhattan and Greenwich and Key West and elsewhere like Europe, I have walked a lot. For those of you have never been in Bean Town, the Boston Pops is very popular around www.harvard.edu , if you did not know it. Of course it is a bit colder up there. The Scott family were one of the first European families in Cambridge, Massachusetts; so I might have some relatives in that area too. I will now shower and clean up to get some kinks out of my system. As a matter of Financial Trivia, although the Bank of New York Mellon has $26 trillion in custody accounts, those old cheap Yankees in Bean Town have $17 Trillion in Custody Acounts at the State Street Trust Bank. Also the local new and internet media have confused the information on Harvard endowment. The internet says that Harvard has a $165 billion endowment, but Fox Business News said last week that they only have a $16.5 billion endowment. It may be with the Asian population up there, they have the Asian number system mixed up with the Arabic number system that we use in this country. In China, the number only go from zero to eight versus zero to ten here. A friend of mine used to have two acres of property next to Knapp tree in Wilton, and every evening, he would have six to eight coyotes in his back yard towards sunset, so further out in the woods in this area, they are very common. From what I know about railroads, my grandfather Clarence Scott worked for the Illinois Central Railroad for 60 years besides having 2,000 acres of farm land in down state Illinois. He was involved with the railroad unions and credit union, but that was in the days when they used big steam locomotives to haul freigh and coal. According to the internet, the Canadian National Railroads bought out the 50,000 miles of track of the Illinois Central Railroad, and Bill Gates of Microsoft fame is the largest stockholder in the Canadian National Railroad. A few years ago, the Illinois central railroad used to have an old run down spur line that ran from Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Burlington, Vermont and through White River Junction, Vermont down to New London, Connecticut. However, a Christ Church friend here in Greenwich, Connecticut told me he use to walk that spur line, and it was all falling apart, so it is probably not to useful to supply the snow bound people up in Montreal or what ever. Nobody communicates very much with me anymore, so all I know is the propaganda, and a few bits and pieces from the grape vine. Back in the old days in Manhattan from January 1973 until July 1992, I used to frequently scout out the meat packing district in the Chelsea area and West Village of Manhattan. In the old days, one could see whole sides of beef on West 14th Street just hanging out on the street, when they were delivered. The railroad also used to have railroad tracks down there. The local Italian mafia in Manhattan that had influence in the local delicatessens in the New York City area did not like www.mcdonalds.com entering the market in the New York City area. The fact that they are in the New York City area goes to show who pretty much won that conflict. At www.lfc.edu which has the Onwensia Country Club nearby where Al Capone and John Dillinger would frequent and also had some of the major meat packing families like Armour, Swift, and Cudahy, and the new money was the McDonalds people. Recently about 25 years ago, I met Scott Nelson from Minnesota whose family owned a gourmet meat company. He lived above the bakery in Irvington, New York and worked at the Chart House in Dobbs Ferry that served meat and would do catering at the Rockefeller estate in North Tarrytown, New York; so they might still eat a bit of meat over there. Scotty has only shown up on the internet as a Cancer fund raising party in South Hampton with Bill Cliinton and Olive Watson Junior, so he must be a liberal democrat. The last time I actually saw him in White Plains, New York, he had an Hispanic friend that was about seven feet tall that worked for Consolidated Edison electric company. However, a more interesting person over there that once bought myself and Richard Van Marter breakfast at the White Plains diner was David Llyod of Lloyds of London which some people might know something about. The Lloyds name list includes some of the wealthiest people in the world who underwrite insurance. Bermuda has the second largest reinsurance company in the World. Ignorant people who try to mess with local business here should really mind their own business activities, because the real people obviously know their own business contacts and associates such as other well known families. In the old days the local Electrolux salesman Wilbur Banks who had been in the Duke of Windsor's Honor Guard in Newport, Rhode Island in World War II and also at Iwo Jima use to buy eight pound pork roasts which were available at the old Grand Union and nearby at www.costco.com in Port Chester, New York. I learned when I visited Oslo, Norway back in February 1983 that the Queen of Norway goes outside at night and gives the Royal Norwegian Machine gun guards cups of hot chocolate to keep their hands warm on cold nights. In America, out in the suburbs of Connecticut there is not too much to do on a night schedule. However, I used to know a few places in near by Manhattan that were opened until 4 A.M.. Still the locals in Manhattan are not too friendly to me, and I do not want to do anything to risk my 2005 Volvo XC70 wagon. Thus I am stuck with the solitude of nights out here. There are three 24 gasoline stations with mini marts in my neighborhood and one all night drug store, and I think the little grocery store across the border where Cumberland Farms used to be is also opened 24 hours. When I was younger in this area, the diner used to be opened 24 hours, and I think there is a 24 hour diner in Port Chester, New York and another one in Tarrytown, New York and another one in White Plains, New York. Also the two rest areas going north and south on I-95 in Darien, Connecticut are also opened 24 hours. I think they have Subway sandwich shops. There is also a rest area in New Canaan, Connecticut on the Merritt Parkway, but I do not know if their concession area is opened 24 hours. Back when in the late 1970s, I cruised at night across and back America three and half times including driving at night in the wilderness of the great wide open spaces. Even in Europe in May 1972, I drove with a friend across the Greek Turkish border at 1 A.M. in the morning and saw machine gun security guards elbow to elbow on both sides of the road all the way to the Bosperous for five hours. Thus I know there are other night people in this world. While at www.lfc.edu besides the 24 hours bars in Highwood, Illinois next to Fort Sheridan, there was also the Oasis rest area off the highway between Chicago and Milwaukee that serves a very good "Farmer's Breakfast". I think it was one of the famous Harvey restaurants of railroad fame in the old days. The last time I visited Washington D.C. back around 1990, there was even a 24 hour book store with coffee bar near the www.wh.gov , when I saw a former college room mate sitting up all night. CIO
